The Culinary Center offers an extraordinary interactive cooking experience through creative
and entertaining sessions. Immerse yourself in the imaginative world of renowned Chefs,
observe techniques, prepare recipes and finally, enjoy creations paired with wine in a
magnificent Viking Range kitchen overlooking the Caribbean.
Focusing on all culinary aspects, from technique to presentation, the classes present the
essentials of gastronomy in a casual, social setting. The two-hour sessions create an
environment of cooking as recreation while learning useful methods, Each class offers three
to five recipes that appeal to guests at all experience levels.

The Fitness Center offers Yoga classes to tone and stretch your body. Our professional Yogi
guides you through a series of physical postures linked with conscious breathing and fluid
movements that develop core strength, detoxify the body and clear the mind, in a sublime
combination of both yoga and pilates.

2 or more- $25 USD per person

W ancing Lessons
The Fitness Center offers Salsa lessons for guests who likes to dance. Salsa is a Latin dance
form with origins from the Cuban Son (circa 1920s) and Afro-Cuban dance. Enhance
yourself with a set of simple routine steps full with rhythm.

V hichen Itza
Visit Chichen Itzá, one of the most outstanding cities of the Mayan culture. The pyramids and temples of Chichen-Itza
are ancient monuments known in the past as a vigorous city in the Yucatan from the 10th to the 12th centuries.
Exploring the site by foot and walking through some of the impressive structures is the best way to experience the
beauty and architecture of this famous city.
What to see: the most important structure is El Castillo, standing 38 meters/132 feet tall. Two ofits four stairways end in
the shape of serpent heads. During the March and September equinoxes, the shadows produced by the sun creates the
illusion of a snake slithering down theside of the temple. Curiously, each staircase holds 91 steps, which, when added
into account(and taking the apex’s platform), represent the 365 days of the year.
Other important buildings are the Templo de los Guerreros, Observatorio, Templo de las MilColumnas, Tzompantli,
Akab Dzib and the Templo de los Jaguares. At night you can enjoy a spectacular light and sound show.

Visit one of the Mayan world’s most visited sites. Tulum is an ancient fortress that sits atop cliffs
and offers a breathtaking view overlooking the Caribbean. It is the largest Mayan City built on the
coast and it is just 80 miles southwest of Cancun. The walled city belongs to the Post-classic period
(AD 900 – 1521).
What to see: the most important buildings are El Castillo, standing over a 12 meter/40 foot-tall
cliff: The Templo del Dios Descendente and the Templo de los Frescos, with interior paintings
of many Mayan Gods, as well as some sacred elements like rain, corn and fish.

V oba- TanKah
Visit Coba and discover the amazing Nohoch Muul pyramid. Explore the nature at TanKah eco-
park with ziplines, kayaks and cenotes.
What to see: Nohouch Mul pyramid 42 meters /138 feet high is the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan
peninsula. The buildings are surrounded by jungle and are reached by following the fifty-plus
sacbes (white stone roads) that served to connect the city to the many surrounding settlements. The
nucleus of Cobá is formed by five groups of large pyramids and temples: Cobá, Nohoch Mul,
Chumuc Mul, Macanxoc and Uxul-Benuc. Among the most interesting constructions, is the 24
,meters/78 foot tall La Iglesia, the eight stelas and nine circular altars of the Macanxoc group and
the Paintings Complex.
