 This technical regulation was developed by 4x4 Iberian King. This document contains 6 pages,
numbered from 1 to 6 and may not be copied or used, in whole or in part without written consent

Art.1.- GENERALITIES
Any modification is prohibited, unless it is expressly authorized by this Regulation.
For security reasons any vehicle can be rejected and thus will not be allowed to exit.
Any case not provided for in this Regulation shall be decided by the Stewards, in accordance with the
provisions of the CDI.
All vehicles must be in accordance with the Technical Regulations of the 4x4 Iberian King Trophy.

1.1. Definitions. Supported cars.
1.1.1. Group A (Extremes) .- Rigid road vehicles with four-wheel drive, Approved or not, which comply with this
Regulation Technical.
1.1.2. Group B (Modified) .- Passenger Cars all-terrain four-wheel drive source and commercial sale at
dealerships in the European Union; with or without approval in force.
1.1.3. Grupo C (Stock) .- Passenger Cars all-terrain four-wheel drive source and commercial sale at
dealerships in the European Union; with or without approval in force. Unchanged compared to the standard
vehicle, except expressly authorized in this Regulation.

1.2. Sonority.
The limit for all vehicles is set at 110 dB / A. The noise level should be measured following the FIA
procedure.

1.3. Fuel.
All vehicles must use a commercial fuel (service station).
Specific formulated gasolines are not accepted.
The participation of diesel vehicles is allowed.

Art.2.- SAFETY EQUIPMENT VEHICLE

All vehicles must comply with art. 283 Annex J of the following elements:
     - Pipes and pumps:                              Art. 283-3
     - Braking safety:                               Art. 283-4
         * Unless otherwise indicated in the specific preparation of each group.
     - Additional fixings:                           Art. 283-5
     - Seatbelts:                                    Art. 283-6
     - Extinguishers - extinguishing systems: Art. 283-7
     - Security structure                            Art. 283-8
     - Lookback:                                     Art. 283-9
     - Towing:                                       Art. 283-10
     - Windscreen, windows and openings *            Art. 283-11
         * Applies only to vehicles of the Group B and C (Modified and Stock). The network side is mandatory in
         any case.
     - Fixations windshield safety:                  Art. 283-12
     - cutoffs:                                      Art. 283-13
     - * Security deposits:                          Art. 283-14
         * Applicable for vehicles of the (Free) Group A. Vehicles Group B and C (Modified and Stock), as an
         alternative to the safety, may carry the original tank.
     - Fire protection screen:                       Art. 283-15
     - Flaps:                                        Art. 283-19
     - Seating:                                      Art. 283-20
     - Airbag:                                       Art. 283-21

Art.3.- MODIFICATIONS PERMITTED TO ALL VEHICLES GROUP A (EXTREMES).

3.1. Bodywork - chassis
3.1.1. The lateral access to the passenger compartment can be manufactured with a metallic structure and
network security or mesh, or completely or mesh network security.
3.1.2. The bumpers can be modified, deleted or reinforced. When staying pilots or lights of any kind, such
pilots or headlights they can be removed.
3.1.3. The tubular structure will have to be covered at its top by a platesteel to the least 1 mm, or aluminum
sheet to the least 3 mm. and it will be welded or bolted to the roll bar covering the entire area above the pilot
and copilot.
3.1.4. All vehicles will, at most, two seats, the front seats must be arranged side by side with a distance from
the outer side of the seat to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle 45 cm.
3.1.5. The wheel arches and fins can be modified and widen.
3.1.6. Reinforcements body-frame are free.
3.1.7. The exhaust and / or intake can be modified. The exhaust pipe system must have at least one spark
arrestor silencer and always keeping the output behind the seats.
3.1.8. the lower protections are allowed to protect the underside of the vehicle. They should not protrude
from the perimeter of the body.
3.1.9. The battery will necessarily gel (one or more) and will be firmly secured to the chassis or body.

3.2. Windscreen, windows and openings
You may not install windshields and side windows.
Installing a network side according to Art. 283-11 is mandatory in any case.

3.3. Inside
It's free.

3.4. Motor.
It's free.
3.4.1. The engine may be positioned at the front or rear of the vehicle.
3.4.2. one efficient protective screen must be placed between the engine and passenger compartment for
evitar projection of flames in case of fire.
3.4.3. The startup of the engine must be electric.
3.4.4. An oil recuperator must be installed with a minimum capacity of 3 L. of a translucent plastic or metallic
material. The decision will be at the top and its vent to the outside.

3.5. Water and oil radiators.
They are free in shape, size and location.

3.5.1. The radiator can not penetrate the passenger compartment. Pipes shall not pass through the cockpit.

3.6. Fuel tanks, brake oil and cooling water.
They must be isolated from the passenger compartment by means of panels, so that, in case of leakage
or broken tank, can not pass liquid to said compartment. Also, for fuel tanks, with respect to the engine
compartment and the exhaust system. The fuel filler neck must be sealed and notprotrude from the body.
The fuel tank must be protected so that a hit can not affect its integrity.

3.7. Suspension
It's free.

3.8. Transmission
It's free.
3.8.1. The self-locking or locking differentials are free.

3.9. Brakes
Besides specified in Art. 2 It is not mandatory presence of a brake hydraulic or mechanical hand in the
vehicle.

3.10. Steering
The steering system and its position are free.
Any system of four-wheel steering is supported.

3.11. Wheel and tire
In this group a maximum wheel size up to 17 inches is allowed.
Tires may protrude from the body, may not exceed 42 inches.

3.12. Lights are free. It is compulsory to rear position, and blinking amber, red or blue.

Art.4.- MODIFICATIONS PERMITTED TO ALL VEHICLES GROUP B (MODIFIED)
The vehicles will be home, they can only be done work for maintement normal or replacement of parts
damaged by use or by other accident source, identical to the damaged one. the modifications listed below
will be accepted.

4.1. Bodywork - chassis.
4.1.1. The original bodywork must be maintained. Bumpers, decorative strips, moldings, etc., can be
eliminated.
4.1.2. Standard chassis must be maintained and allowed to reinforce the original basic structure, provided
that the ferrous material used is a sheet with thickness MAXImo 2 mm., follow the original shape and is in
contact with the chassis.
4.1.3. The lower protections are allowed to protect the underside of the vehicle. Should notprotrude from the
perimeter of the body.
4.1.4. Battery, one or more, will necessarily gel and be securely fastened to the chassis or body of the
vehicle.

4.2. Motor
4.2.1. It allows any engine.
4.2.2. Thermostat, electric fan and sensor startup are free.
4.2.3. The path of the exhaust may be modified. Teeing the exhaust is free, always keeping out behind the
seats.
4.2.4. An oil recuperator must be installed with a minimum capacity of 2 L. of a translucent plastic or
metallic material. The decision will be at the top and its vent to theExterior.

4.3. Suspension
4.3.1. It allowed reinforce the trapezoids and anchors origin and vary its position and size.
4.3.2. The springs, the springs and the torsion bars are free.
4.3.3. Buffers are free, but not exceeding 2.5 inches per shock.

4.4. Transmission
4.4.1. The clutch is free
4.4.2. The reduction of the differential (pinion-crown group) is free. The bearings are free.
4.4.3. a limited slip or locking differential is allowed on the rear and front axle.

4.5. Brakes
Free are associated with the shafts are installed in the vehicle, including the brake.
Pads and brake fluid are free. The original hoses may be replaced by aircraft type according to Art. 283-3.3.2.

4.6. Steering
The steering system will necessarily mechanically can not be 100% hydraulic, it allows better by steering
dampers.

4.7. Wheel and tire
In this group a maximum wheel size up to 17 inches is allowed.
Tires may protrude from the body, may not exceed 37 inches.

Art.5.- MODIFICATIONS PERMITTED TO ALL VEHICLES GROUP C (STOCK, UTV)
The vehicles will be home, they can only be done work for maintement normal or replacement of parts
damaged by use or by other accident source, identical to the damaged one. the modifications listed below
will be accepted.

5.1. Bodywork - chassis.
5.1.1. The original bodywork must be maintained. Bumpers, decorative strips, moldings, etc., can be
eliminated.
5.1.2. Standard chassis must be maintained, but is allowed to reinforce the original basic structure, provided
that the ferrous material used is a sheet with thickness MAXImo 2 mm., follow the original shape and is in
contact with the chassis.

5.2. Motor
5.2.1. The motor and cooling system must be the source vehicle.
5.2.2. The air intake system can be modified.
5.2.3. Forced induction at any point is not permitted, unless it is equipped at the factory.
5.2.4. The exhaust manifold must be the source vehicle.
5.2.5. The path of the exhaust may be modified. Teeing the exhaust is free.
5.2.6. a recuperator oil must be installed with a minimum capacity of 2 L. of a translucent plastic or metallic
material. The decision will be at the top and its vent to theExterior.
5.3. Suspension
5.3.1. Allowed trapezes and strengthen the anchors of origin, maintaining its position and size.
5.3.2. The suspension system is the original number of the vehicle.

5.5. Brakes
It will be the complete system of origin of the vehicle associated with the axes that are installed in the
vehicle, including the parking brake.
Pads and brake fluid are free. The original hoses may be replaced by aircraft type according to Art. 283-3.3.2.

5.6. Steering
The steering system shall be that original number of the vehicle.

5.7. Wheel and tire
In this group a maximum wheel size up to 17 inches is allowed.
Tires may protrude from the body may not exceed 35 inches.

Art.6.- SAFETY

VEHICLE SAFETY COMPLEMENT

6.1. Tools and accessories.
Vehicles can carry, properly restrained, the following elements relief and rescue:
• Capstans hydraulic, electrical or mechanical, at least one and at most two.
• Two plates or rescue ladders (maximum length 140cm and width 50cm maximum.).

• 2 Slings Tm 4 maximum, greater than 4 m and shorter for tree.

• 1 Guide pulley.

• 1 Cat.

• 4 Fetters.

• 2 Pairs of work gloves.

• 1 Anchor.

• 1 Hammer.

• 1 Extension cable winch or replacement.
1 First aid kit.
