Newsletter Of The Badger Region Cadillac & LaSalle Club - Wisconsin
It is that time of year again to start thinking about our annual Crest Car
Show. It was determined the date would be Saturday June 1st. This is a
week before the Louisville Grand National.
There will be discussion at the March meeting to conform the date with
Crest and start the process of planning and taking names of volunteers.
Please consider stepping forward to help with this very important yearly
event.

The March meeting will have the Badger Region CLC logo
clothing available for order and purchase.
Plan ahead for the summer outings to car shows, parades,
Friday nights out, and the Cadillac Grand National in
Louisville Kentucky in June.
Join the “gang” and wear your colors. This will be the
only time I will be taking clothing orders before summer.

ell folks it looks like it might
be a long time before the cars
come out of hibernation. Where I live
there is more snow on the ground than at
this date last month. The low temps
really don’t help the melting. So we will
motor on with the daily drivers and
finding indoor events.
Our Activities Committee have plenty
of ideas when those temperatures go up.
Attend the meeting to help select what’s up
next.
I was very pleased to see we had a unanimous vote approving our
Region to go forward with planning for a CLC National Driving Tour
in 2021. Dan and Joan Cress will be the chairs of the tour, and
recently met with myself, Nancy and Jake Jakus. We compiled a list of
many attractions within a reasonable driving distance from two
potential hub hotel locations. Dan is completing the formal paperwork
and will be submitting it to the CLC. Joan will introduce a
presentation to the CLC at the Board Meeting during the 2019
Louisville Grand National this summer.
Be sure to attend the March meeting. We have many things to
discuss including the Crest Car Show on June 1.

Badger Region CLC Meeting Minutes A date of June 1, 2019 has been set for the
Badger Region CLC car show at Crest Cadillac. A
February 16, 2019 motion was made by Bill Schneider and seconded by
Ron Wichinski to set the date.
ATTENDEES: Ron Wichinski, Nancy Klemp, Bill Carl Rieken extended invitations from the
Klemp, Bill Schneider, Bob Griepentrog, Dan Cress, Allante Club to Badger CLC to visit the Klairmont
Lars Anderson, Carl Rieken, Bruce Robrahn, Carrie Kollection, March 2, 2019. There is also a Spring
Riviere, Ron Zeise, Tom Vilter, Brian Tyndall, Thomas Opener Brunch on April 28, 2019 and a Trip to Italy is
Sanders, Sharon Derke. planned for May 4-18, 2019.
Meeting called to order at 10:05 AM by Director, There was discussion about the Badger Region

Dan Cress gave the financial report. The silent Dan Cress suggested doing a Hub Tour (you stay
