Okavango Delta |

The waters of the Okavango Delta are subject to seasonal flooding, which begins about mid-
summer in the north and six months later in the south (May/June). The water from the delta is
evaporated relatively rapidly by the high temperatures, resulting in a cycle of cresting and
dropping water in the south. Islands can disappear completely during the peak flood, and then
reappear at the end of the season. You will experience this graceful wetland from the air en-
                                   route to your private camp.

Chobe |

With the meandering Chobe river on it border, the Chobe National Park has some of the finest
game viewing in Africa and one of the biggest concentrations of elephants in Africa. It is also
notable for huge herds of buffalo and zebras, lechwe, Chobe bushbuck and puku antelope can
also be seen. Where there are buffalo, lions are never far away and there is a good chance of
seeing large prides who laze around in the shade all day and only yawn themselves awake at
dusk. Hyena and leopard also hunt at night while cheetahs are diurnal predators. Chobe is rich
in bird life with the Pel's Fishing own a favourite for bird watchers and the peculiar strangely
beaked African skimmer another speciality. African fish eagles are common and their distinctive
cry is as evocative of the African wilderness as the roar of the lion.

Botswana |

Please note: In Botswana there is a 20kg luggage limit applicable to the charter flights between camps. 20kg luggage is the
total weight for both luggage and hand luggage/camera equipment. Please note that the Hand Luggage may not exceed 5kg. The
bags which guests can bring have to be small, flexible, and soft sided. Unfortunately large suitcases and rigid, inflexible luggage
cannot be transported in the aircraft. Luggage with "pull along" handle frames and wheels are NOT flexible soft bags and do not fit
into the aircraft. (These include bags which might have soft sides, however have a solid or rigid "wheely" frame within the base of
the bag.) All luggage has to be packed in the belly pods of the aircraft.

Mack Air would like to announce that it will no longer be charging for an additional seat for guests weighing 110kg (242Lbs) or
more. For this additional seat charge to be waived Mack Air reservations MUST be informed of the guest’s actual weight at the
time of booking and therefor, prior to arrival in Botswana and the start of their safari. Should we, as the booking agent, not be
able to communicate the required information to Mack Air, and a guest requires an additional seat whereby an additional aircraft
may have to be dispatched, the booking agent will be charged accordingly. We urge guests to be honest about their weight, and
agents to provide us with the required information, as to ensure that Mack Air has sufficient time to appropriately plan the flights
and waive the additional charges.

The Ministry of Nationality, Immigration and Gender Affairs informs the general public that it has imposed requirements for minors
(children under 18) travelling through the country’s ports of entry. Effective from the 1st October 2016 minors travelling through
the country’s borders will be required to produce certified copies of unabridged birth certificates in addition to their valid passports.
In the event that one parent is not travelling with the child, the other parent’s affidavit consenting to such travel should be availed.
However, an affidavit will not be required if the father’s name does not appear on the child’s birth certificate. The development,
which is aimed at managing the movement of children across the country’s borders, has an ultimate goal of tackling human
trafficking which is a global challenge. Botswana, like other countries is affected by this problem and as such has enacted the
United Nations Anti-Human Trafficking Protocol; which calls upon governments to come up with deliberate measures aimed at
combating human trafficking.
