Camp with the animals
INSERT One year on from the bushfire crisis that devastated the region,
IMAGE Mogo Wildlife Park, south of Batemans Bay, is launching a new
bespoke attraction for local tourists. Visitors can now embrace
the great outdoors and camp overnight at Mogo Wildlife Park,
home to Australia’s most diverse collection of exotic wildlife!
Mogo Wildlife Perfect for families, couples, singles and groups, the new
experience is all-inclusive with tents, beds and meals included,
park as well as a group animal encounter on arrival. Guests will also
have the opportunity to learn about the rich history of the South
Coast and enjoy live country music around a campfire after
dinner. The following morning will see guests awaken to the
distinctive calls of animals and be fuelled with a breakfast
overlooking the park’s Sumatran tigers. Following breakfast with
Mogo wildlife park
the tigers, guests are invited to explore the park and feed the
@mogowildlifepark giraffes.

Available for travel from 1 June, guests can explore both coasts

HiveMind: Honeybees, Democracy and Me
INSERT HiveMind: Honeybees, Democracy and Me is a quirky look at the
IMAGE little-known history of Australia’s federal parliaments. The new
exhibition at Canberra’s Museum of Australian Democracy
(MoAD) is opening just in time for World Bee Day on the 20th of
May and features a handmade ‘democratic hive’ art installation
that uncovers the stories of beekeeping at Australia’s
Museum of Parliament Houses, both old and new, and shares what we
could learn from bees on collective decision making for
Australian democracy.

Australia was one of the first countries in the world to allow
beekeeping on Parliament House grounds, and this exhibition
uncovers and tells the story through the eyes of William Yates
MP who sought permission to keep bees at Old Parliament

Military Museum Tour and Dinner

memorabilia and artefacts from the 11 conflicts that Norfolk
Island people have served in, including both World Wars, the

Degustation at heritage estate wines
INSERT Guests at the monthly Five Senses Degustation Dinners at
IMAGE Heritage Estate Wines are seated with the winery owners for a
delicious seven course meal at a grand oval table, which in itself
is a privileged experience given the table’s historic significance -
it once seated members of Parliament as the first Queensland
Parliamentary Table, circa 1859.

cosy stay for two adults and comes with all the ‘trimmings’ -

INSERT Luxury accommodation will soon be available on Victoria's Silo
IMAGE Art Trail as Visit Victoria launches Silo Art Hotel – a street-art
themed popup hotel located at Sea Lake in Northwest Victoria.
The limited time activation will see three beautifully
re-imagined shipping containers by Contained pop up on the
edge of Victoria's most photographed pink lake, Lake Tyrell,
independent from 11 June to 12 July.
Two of the eco-pods will serve as boutique hotel rooms, each
design appointed with high end finishes, a luxury bathroom,
‘taste of the region’ minibar, luxuriously soft bed linens,
Australian-made toiletries and a private deck. The third
converted container will house a heated open-air swimming

the playful Moxy brand in Sydney.
