highlights of our financial results.
Stronger together the way for a stronger
We can already see the positive effects of the merger. Employees from
both caisses are working together and new relationships are already
community
being built. The caisse is also in a better position to attract and retain
employees. This will help us make sure we can provide our members
with advice from experienced, dedicated professionals, which is a real
asset in the financial field. With business volumes of more than
$4 billion, we’ll be able to leverage our combined financial strength to
drive business development.
With our financial stability, we can generate more surplus earnings,
which we then return to our members and the community in the form
of dividends, through the Community Development Fund (CDF) and
through donations and sponsorships. We’ve already given back
$187,697.31 through the CDF and $167,932.94 in donations and
sponsorships. See our cooperative difference report for more on the
initiatives we’ve invested in. Paule Descôteaux Pierre Poirier
