HOW TO EARN A FREE (almost) AIR TICKET TO THAILAND?
You will need 80,000 points to fly free coach class to Thailand. Gina recommends applying for a
Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card which offers a 80,000 sign-up bonus when you spend $4000 in the
first 3 months of getting the card. It does have an annual fee of $95, even in the first year. However, this is
still a pretty inexpensive airline ticket as you only need 80,000 points to fly coach RT roundtrip to
Thailand. If you already have some United reward points and just need to gain a few points to reach
80,000 points for a free RT ticket, get a Chase United Explorer reward credit card (www.united.com or
www.chase.com) which offers a 40,000 sign-up bonus when you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months of
getting the card. No annual fee the first year ($95 year 2).
