THE TCCS BUTTER BRAID FUNDRAISER ENDS MONDAY!
Butter Braids are a perfect solution for Thanksgiving dessert, a Christmas
morning treat, or a dinner pizza! Our TCCS annual Butter Braid sale goes
through Monday, November 15. Delivery/Pickup is scheduled for
November 22.
This year, you are also able to order your Butter Braids ONLINE! All you
have to do is click on the TCCS staff and/or student you are supporting
(this is the person who will be responsible for delivering your order) and
the rest is a breeze!

PLEASE NOTE: The Butter Braid and Cake Roll fundraisers have switched on the school calendar. The Cake Roll
sale will now begin February 14, 2022.
TCCS AWARDED $2,500 FOR FHN’S MILES AND MINUTES
Today we were blessed to accept a check for $2,500 from
FHN! We received this check for being named first place in
the FHN Miles and Minutes miles per school system (per
weighted score) category with 105,330 miles and third
place for average miles per participant category with
196.87 miles! FHN President /CEO Mark Gridley remains
impressed with how we continue to win year after year.
With immense gratitude, we thank all those who
participated in this fundraiser and chose TCCS as their
school. We are also grateful to FHN for continuing to offer
this community fundraiser each year which encourages
exercise and activity while blessing local schools.

Mark your calendars and don’t forget Scrip this holiday season!
ThankScriping Day is November 18-19 this year! Participants earn up to 20% with 105+
bonuses on eGift cards and reloaded gift cards. It’s a great opportunity for people to
raise more money during the busiest shopping season of the year and make a bigger
impact on TCCS. As always, the list of retailers is TOP SECRET, so you'll have to wait
until the promotion begins to see who is participating. Remember, you have to be
signed up with the Scrip Program to participate. To immediately receive your Scrip
purchases you must be signed up for Presto Pay or pay by credit card within the
program. If you would like someone to help walk you through the process we would

TCCS 13th ANNUAL HOLIDAY MARKET
Registration for TCCS’s 13th Annual Holiday
Market is open! This year’s IN-PERSON
event will be held on Saturday, December
11 from 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at Park Hills
Church in Freeport.
In the past, the Holiday Market has featured
approximately 40 crafters and home
vendors selling foods and fashions, gifts and
glitter—everything to make the holidays
bright. In addition, 10% of all profits from
the day’s sales are graciously donated back to TCCS. If you are a crafter or home vendor, we would like to
extend a special invitation to you to participate in this event! Please visit

SAVE THE DATE – TCCS SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR 12/1/2021
It’s back and just in time for some last-minute Christmas shopping! That makes
this year’s “Feel the Warmth of Giving Books” the perfect winter theme.
There is also a new addition to the fair that will make it possible for friends and
family to virtually help build up your child’s library at home. Stay tuned for
further information!
SAVE THE DATE – TCCS CHRISTMAS PROGRAM 12/9/2021
This year’s annual in-person Christmas program for students in PreK-
8th Grade, is Thursday, December 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Freeport
Masonic Temple (305 W Stephenson St, Freeport, IL 61032). You
don’t want to miss it!
Now through November 17*, 2021
TCCS students will be collecting items for the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. All chapel offerings
since October 15 will go towards this service project. Below is the list of items that are suggested gift
donations for the boxes:
School Supplies: pens, pencils and sharpeners, crayons or markers, stamps and ink pad sets, writing pads or
paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc.
Toys: small cars, balls, dolls stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump ropes, small Etch A Sketch, toys
that light up or make noise (with extra batteries), Slinky, etc.
Hygiene Items: toothbrush, mild bar soap (in a plastic bag), comb, washcloth, etc.
Other: T-shirts, socks, ball caps, sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries).
Do not include: Candy, gum, toothpaste, used or damaged items, scary or war-related items such as toy guns,
knives, or military figures, chocolate or food, seeds, fruit rolls or other fruit snacks, drink mixes (powdered or
liquid), liquids or lotions, medications or vitamins, breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers,
aerosol cans.
We will also be attempting to donate the requested $9 per shoebox we prepare to help cover shipping and
other project costs. Thank you so much for your support of this service project! We will need items in by
Wednesday, November 17. Feel free to check out further information at

Please send your donations with your student to chapel, or bring them into the school any day during office
hours (8-4, M-F). We will have a collection barrel near the entryway.
