HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM

 SOCIAL CLUB
W e would like to wish all of our members, our
neighbors and friends, much peace, happiness,
good health and well being in the coming year. Surely
we all agree that 2020 was very difficult, and we are
glad to leave it behind, and now hope that this new
year 2021 will be the beginning of the end of this ter-
rible pandemic. We all want and need to be together
again and have some kind of normalcy back in our
lives. So let us all stay strong for as long as this
takes, because good things are waiting for us. We
miss everyone and are looking forward to Social Club
 meeting once again.

 Tuna Casserole
 From the Internet
 Submitted by Janice Sutton

Ingredients: Instructions:
2 cups dry egg noodles, cooked to al dente and I start by turning the oven on to heat up to 400
drained degrees. While the oven is heating, I boil the egg
noodles just to al dente – because they’ll continue to
12oz can chunk light tuna in water, drained
cook in the casserole. During this time, I also grease
10.5oz can cream of mushroom soup my baking dish and set it aside. Then I melt the butter
1 cup whole milk and mix the bread crumbs into it to have the topping
15oz can low sodium peas, drained ready to go.
2tbls. butter, melted (plus extra for greasing baking As soon as the noodles are done cooking, I drain
dish) them and stir them together with the tuna, peas, cream
of mushroom soup, and milk. Spread this mixture into
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
the prepared casserole dish, and put it in the oven to
Salt and pepper to taste bake for 20 minutes.
Remove it after the 20 minutes have passed,
sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the top, and
place the dish back in the oven for another 5 minutes
or until the bread crumb mixture is golden brown and
the casserole is hot and bubbling.

 Shoot Without Flash
When shooting indoors everyone’s first thought
is to use a flash. While this is often a good move,
shooting indoors without a flash can produce some
 very interesting images.
Using the natural light will enhance many images.
Someone in the glow of a candle is a good example.
Using a flash in this case will overpower the golden
glow of the candle. This is also true of shooting an
event on stage. A flash will eliminate the stage lights
 and create harsh shadows
Many of these shots will have a slow shutter
speed, so you may need some additional camera
support. If you don’t have a tripod, try leaning against
something, placing your elbows on a firm support, and
 using the self timer.
That’s it for this month. as always you can send
 an email to bill@kirmsphotography.com. Visit
www.kirmsphotography.com if you’d like to see
 more of my images.
Keep shooting to improve your images, but most
importantly, have fun with your camera.
