PRIZE LIST/PROGRAM 95th Annual Warrenton Pony Show, Inc. “The Oldest Pony Show in America” Wednesday through Sunday June 25 - June 29, 2014 Warrenton Horse Show Grounds Warrenton, Virginia A National “A” Rated Show for USEF, VHSA and MHSA Entries Close June 11, 2014 Benefitting The Fauquier S.P.C.A. Featuring a $1,500 Pony Hunter Classic Sponsored by South Pickett Farm

1 THE WARRENTON PONY SHOW “The Oldest Pony Show in America” Our 95th Year Spring 2014 Dear Exhibitors and Friends, The 95th Annual Warrenton Pony Show will be held June 25th through June 29th at the Warrenton Horse Show Grounds in Warrenton, Virginia.

The Show is, as always, held to benefit a local charity. Again this year, we have chosen the Fauquier County S.P.C.A. We will make a special presentation to the shelter during the show. The Warrenton Pony Show is the oldest Pony Show in America and is the only recognized show run by juniors eighteen years of age and younger. Our committee operates under the supervision of the Warrenton Pony Show, Inc. Board of Directors—a group of local adult volunteers. The knowledge and practical experience we gain from producing this five-day “A” rated show are valuable in many ways and help instill the importance of responsibility and community service.

In 1999, the Board of Directors started a scholarship fund in memory of Puller Hughes, a long time friend and advisor of the Pony Show. This fund has allowed the Board to award college scholarships to deserving members of the Junior Committee. This year, we are having the second annual $1,500 Pony Hunter Classic, graciously sponsored by South Pickett Farm. The class will be held on Saturday evening under the lights, including a reception. Tailgate spots are available. We would like to extend a very special “thank you” to all of our faithful sponsors and supporters who have kept the spirit and tradition of this show alive over the years.

Sincerely, The Warrenton Pony Show Junior Committee Please patronize our advertisers and thank them for supporting The Warrenton Pony Show
