Keeping You Safe
We are always committed to providing a fun and safe experience for all our guests. We are strictly adhering to all CDC
Guidelines and CDC recommended cleaning products and procedures.

In an effort to decrease the transmission of COVID-19, Sugarloaf Inn has increased its frequency of sanitizing high touch
items in public spaces, guest rooms are cleaned and sanitized between guests and hand sanitizer stations are set up
throughout the building. We have also increased training with staff on hygiene practices, use of PPE and monitoring
personal health as related to COVID-19 symptoms.

Guests are expected to wear a mask at all times unless seated at their table. Employees are wearing masks and will have
their temperature taken and sign in stating that they do not exhibit any symptoms at each shift.

To decrease the risk of exposure we are limiting in-room housekeeping services during your stay. Please notify the front
desk if you wish to have your room serviced or display the door hanger showing the side that says Please Service My Room.

Hiking

Sugarloaf is one of four 4,000 foot peaks in the Carrabassett Valley region, and with plenty of gentle trails through the
foothills, there’s something for every hiker. Stop in to the Sugarloaf Outpost, Sugarloaf Outdoor Center or Maine Huts and
Trails for information on specific routes. The Appalachain Trail passes through Carrabassett Valley if you were looking to
get a small taste of the 2,200 mile trail up the east coast. The Bigelow Perserves are also popular among hikers. If you’re
looking for a more leisurely walk in nature, check out the Sugarloaf Outoor Center and the Narrow Gauge Path.

For those who wish to see panoramic views without breaking a sweat, head to Ira Mountain, a private road and outlook.
Follow the Iron Bridge across the river and keep left. You will find a gate with an attendant collecting fees.
