Tax Sale Property Procedures – changes to the Municipal Act
2001 on May 30th 2017 amended references that proper-

Should this occur, the owner will be required to pay taxes to
bring the account up to date and if not one year from the
registration date of the tax arrears certificate, the property
may be sold for the taxes owing, plus any legal costs incurred.
To avoid such action, the Township sends out arrears state-

last known address on file. Please be sure to keep us up to
date on all changes in relation to your property. If you have
taxes owing in the year 2017 and beyond this will affect you!

To complete their 10th Anniversary celebrations, the Bloomers and their friends chartered a bus on June 5th and spent a magical
day at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton. It was perfect timing to enjoy the lilacs, irises and peonies. The trip was orga-
nized by members Linda Spurgeon and Rhoda Cullen with attention to every part of the day - including a buffet supper and gift
bag! The trip was such a big success they are already making plans for next June's Day Tour.
