TRAVEL WITHTHE BEST Archbishop Desmond Tutu affectionately coined the phrase Rainbow Nation to describe post-apartheid South Africa after their first fully democratic election in 1994.
While cultural diversity was the origin for the term, Rainbow Nation is indeed an apt descriptor for the rich palette of sights, aromas and sounds that emanate from South Africa’s iconic flora and fauna. “Itwasagreatholidayandbeautifully organized. V 16 - 20 FEBRUARY 2018 ~ 4 NIGHTS BOOK ONLINE WWW.GOGOLFING.NET.AU | 07 5508 2250 Victoria Falls presents a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River, forming the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It was described by the Kololo tribe living in the area in the 1800’s as ‘Mosi-oaTunya’ – ‘The Smoke that Thunders’. In more modern terms Victoria Falls is known as the greatest curtain of falling water in the world.
Columns of spray can be seen from miles away.
