This contract sets out terms of trade between Muri Beach Club Hotel and the wholesaler
(hereinafter referred to as ‘the wholesaler’). Both parties agree that the following trading
terms and conditions will apply for all dealings between Muri Beach Club Hotel and the
wholesaler unless otherwise accepted in writing by both parties.
ACCOMMODATION RATES
These nett rates are exclusive to the wholesaler only
The rates apply to FITs and are single/double/twin occupancy only
The rates are nett to Muri Beach Club Hotel and EXCLUSIVE of VAT (15%) these taxes must
be added to ALL RATES within this document and are subject to change.
The rates are quoted in New Zealand Dollars
The rates are applicable for the stated period only. If a booking straddles two price
periods, please issue separate vouchers for each of those periods.
Check in time is 2.00pm
Check out time is 10.00am
MINIMUM AGE IS 18 YEARS, children 17 years and under are NOT permitted at the hotel.

All international transfers include a representative meet & greet on arrival and a small bottle
of water. Domestic Bus Transfers include transfers from and to the Domestic Airline terminal.
All prices advised are one way and per person or per car.

WEDDING PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY
• A Non-refundable deposit of $1000 is required to confirm and secure wedding date.
• A further non-refundable payment of 50% of the package total is due 90 days prior to
wedding date.
• The balance of package total is due 30 days prior to wedding date. Wedding
numbers can be added not subtracted at this point and full balance of payment is
non-refundable.
• Any additional expenses pertaining to F&B tabs must be settled on the night of the
wedding before reception ends.
• Any additions or extra services made on top of the package must be paid directly to
the hotel
• Wedding ceremony and/or reception packages can be upgraded but not be
downgraded within 30 days prior to wedding date. Lower numbers in terms of
catering requirements received within 30 days of the wedding event, will not be
refunded.
• Wedding cancellation conditions:
o Cancellations are to be in writing at all times, verbal amendments will not be
accepted, or honoured.
o We strongly recommend insurance to provide adequate cover for the
potential financial loss that you may incur as a result of cancellation.
o Refunds (except for non-refundable) will be subject to validation and will be
on a case-by-case analysis.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
USE AND APPROVAL OF ADVERTISING MATERIAL
The wholesaler must submit all proposed advertising material mentioning the Hotel for
approval by the Company’s management or appointed Consultant PRIOR to the
publication of such material. Specific permission must be sought for the use of any Muri
Beach Club Hotel image on the cover of a brochure or in any advertising (print, video or
web based) and special attention is drawn to the copyright provision regarding the use of

Page 5 of 10the resort’s images. Muri Beach Club Hotel must be credited with the image in all
publications.
PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITY
Please be advised that Muri Beach Club Hotel will not accept any responsibility for any
guests’ loss of or damage to personal equipment and property whilst staying at Muri Beach
Club Hotel or during participation in any activity. Guests are required to follow any directions,
which may be given whilst staying at Muri Beach Club Hotel or participating in activities. Muri
Beach Club Hotel will not accept responsibility for any injuries, which occur to guests whilst
staying at Muri Beach Club Hotel or due to participation in any activity. Guests participating
in scuba activities are requested to sign an Indemnity release prior to instruction/diving.
Muri Beach Club Hotel will not accept any responsibility for any delay, additional expense or
inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of the Hotel’s
control such as late arrival of Domestic or International Flights, civil disturbance, fire, floods,
unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or failure of any machinery or
equipment.
TERMINATION
This agreement may be terminated upon THIRTY (30) DAYS written notice. In addition, this
agreement may be terminated at any time upon the failure of any party to comply with the
terms and conditions of this agreement. Notwithstanding any termination of the agreement,
the Wholesaler shall be entitled to have reservations honoured if made prior to the date of
termination and confirmed and utilised thereafter
GOVERNING LAW
These terms and conditions are covered in all respects by the LAW OF THE COOK ISLANDS
and any legal action arising under this contract shall be litigated only in the appropriate
court having jurisdiction in the Cook Islands.
RATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE
The Company reserves the right to adjust rates for events beyond the control of the
Company: i.e. changes in exchange rates if same is raised or lowered by the actions of any
government.
THIRD PARTY SERVICES
Muri Beach Club Hotel does not take any responsibility for any third-party services
recommended or included in packages and is not liable for any losses, changes to itineraries
or non-provision of said service to Guest.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Muri Beach Club Hotel strongly recommends that all clients take out a comprehensive travel
insurance policy at the time of booking to protect them and all those accompanying them,
for the entire duration of their holiday against illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and other
personal items, weather interruptions, cancellation and other travel contingencies.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Payment must be the NETT rate for all items plus applicable taxes, at the time of issue of this
contract the Cook Islands taxes: 15% VAT.
DEPOSIT: One (1) night Premier Garden View, Pool View and or Deluxe Hotel Room rate
(whichever category booked) is payable within SEVEN (7) DAYS of booking to confirm the
reservation unless credit is approved.
BALANCE: The balance is payable FORTY-FIVE (45) DAYS prior to the clients’ arrival at the
Hotel unless credit is approved.
LATE BOOKINGS: Bookings made within FORTY-FIVE (45) DAYS of the clients’ arrival are
payable immediately unless credit is approved. Failure to meet the above payment
schedule may result in cancellation of reservations. Any other arrangements regarding the
payment schedule MUST be agreed to by Muri Beach Club Hotel in writing.
PAYMENT METHOD:
All payments are to be made by telegraphic transfer in New Zealand Dollars to the following
account:

Alternatively, payments by New Zealand Dollar Bank Cheque or Draft drawn on a New
Zealand Bank are also accepted. Please note that all bank fees and charges associated
with the payment of accounts will be at guest’s expense and not that of Muri Beach Club
Hotel. Payments by credit card will incur an additional surcharge.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation notice must be received in writing by email from Industry Partner, the receipt of
which needs to be verified and acknowledged by Muri Beach Club Hotel
More than FORTY FIVE (45) days prior to arrival: NO cancellation fee
Between THIRTY ONE (31) and FORTY FIVE (45) days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee
THIRTY (30) days or less notice prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee
No shows or days not used due to premature departure: 100% cancellation fee
GOVERNMENT TAX
All rates are TAX EXCLUSIVE and will be subject to Value Added Tax – currently at 15% should
this tax percentage increase at any time during the term of this contract 01 April 2020 – 31
March 2021 the Hotel reserves the right to immediately advise the wholesaler of these
changes in accordance with Cook Island Government regulations. Any changes to tax
levels are outside the resorts control and will be passed on.

Vouchers are to be sent to the Resort when reservations are made or given to clients to
present upon check-in.
The Resort will provide services to the clients on the wholesalers account according to the
exact instructions on the booking documentation received (room lists, voucher etc.). In the
event of unclear documentation or instructions, the clients shall be charged directly for any
such services at the published hotel rate, and no responsibility is accepted by the Resort for
any claims resulting from this procedure.

Note : Group Payments & Conditions are based on the number of rooms confirmed. Inventory
can not be decreased once booking is confirmed.
Group Payment Terms & Conditions:
A non-refundable 20% deposit is required within 7 days of confirmation
40% is payable 120 days prior to arrival
Final 40% is payable 90 days prior to arrival
*note 90 days is our current lead time from our main source markets so gives us enough time
to sell rooms if group numbers drop off.
Group Cancellation / No Show Policy:
Cancellations must be in writing and acknowledged as received.
Cancellations made 90 days or more prior to arrival will forfeit the 20% non-refundable
deposit.
Cancellations made 89-60 days prior to arrival incur 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 59 days or less will incur a 100% cancellation fee, no refund.
CONTRACT AGREEMENT 2020 / 2021
If a signed contract is not returned to Muri Beach Club Hotel, upon your first booking with the
resort, we will assume you have read and have agreed to all the terms and conditions of this
contract and all contents will be binding.
Confirmation and Acceptance of the 2020 / 2021 Contract Rates, Terms and Conditions,
please confirm your acceptance of the rates, terms and conditions of this wholesale
contract by signing this page of the contract. Please return the original signed copy to Muri
