finally Time For Together.
We are elated to see our centres hustling and bustling with life and excitement once again.
After a challenging year that forced us to be physically apart, our JCCs will play a pivotal role
in bringing us back together. We invite you to join us at one of our two full-service locations,
now operating in both Toronto and Vaughan, where you will enjoy meaningful experiences
that foster human connection and promote health and wellness in a safe, welcoming
environment. Come experience the sense of warmth and belonging that makes the JCC so
special. We can’t wait to welcome you.
Our team has been focused on reimagining the JCC experience to focus on holistic wellness
to strengthen the mind, body and soul. As you browse the guide and explore the full depth

to connect. It has become the central location in the
Jewish community that provides endless opportunities
to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. Our children and
family programs provide an entry way into the JCC and
Jewish community, and encourage everyone to chase
their passions, refine their skills and build confidence.
Our mission is to offer something for the entire family.
By walking through our doors, every member will
succeed at finding something special to participate
in, whether it be art, dance or visual arts. We provide

Adult Programs
The Schwartz/Reisman Centre’s adult programs are
open to participants 18 years and older. Our goal is to
enable everyone to develop and grow while making
friends and strengthening their Jewish identities. While
addressing the needs of adults in different life stages
and diverse relationships, the Schwartz/Reisman Centre
promotes intellectual enrichment, creative expression,
personal growth, social connections and development
of new skills. We are committed to providing diverse

Jewish community and community at large.

Program Description: Bronze leadership courses are accredited by the Lifesaving Society
of Ontario. Candidates will receive lifesaving techniques and receive
fitness training. At a glance, candidates are expected to swim 400m
within 12 minutes for Bronze Medallion and 400m within 11 minutes for
Bronze Cross. (Please note that course cancellations may happen due
to low enrollment. Aquatics staff will inform candidates on alternatives)

Program Description: National lifeguard courses are accredited by the Lifesaving Society
of Ontario. Candidates will receive lifeguarding techniques, fitness
training. This certification will allow candidates seek lifeguard
employment opportunities. PREREQUISITES: 15+ years old, Bronze
Cross certification, and Standard First Aid with CPR-C” to the National
Lifeguard course description.

Begin your fitness journey by exploring what we have to offer at the J! We have a skilled and enthusiastic
group of Certified Personal Trainers available who are willing and able to assist you in reaching your
personal fitness goals. Every new and returning member is offered two complimentary Fit Starts valued at
over $170.
Fit Start Session 1
Complete an assessment with a personal trainer to set Fitness Goals and
undergo a Functional Movement Screening. This session also includes a
discussion about the different fitness options available to you at the J!
Fit Start Session 2
Using the knowledge gained during your first Fit Start, your personal trainer
will deliver a personalized training session with considerations to your health
needs and goals. After completion of this session, you will be provided with
corrective exercises and a greater understanding of the various offerings
included in your membership to continue with your fitness journey.

sessions offer dynamic workout formulas, innovative equipment, and

friendly competitions to keep you motivated. Individual attention from
your coach and support from your team help you get the most out of
every workout. Synergy offers 2 exciting programs to choose from:
Synergy ACTIVE and Synergy ALPHA! Sessions are 8 weeks in length
and have a maximum of 10 participants.
