Each year, École des Roches offers French immersion programme on its campus in Normandy, designed for young
people from 12 to 18 years old. We offer immersion courses with our students, French lessons, cultural excursions
and sporting activities.
Dates:
5 weeks - From Sunday 2nd of January to Friday 4th of February, 2022
Fees:
5 weeks - 6 500 €
Weekly pedagogical programme
- 25h of French courses per week
- 1 excursion every 2 weeks
- Sports or cultural activities with French students
- 5-day trip at Disneyland Paris and Lyon
Certificate and assessment of learning achievement
Outing and Winter trip
Winter Camp students will have the chance to participate in 2 excursions and a trip with our FLE students
of the academic year.
Excursions
The opportunity to discover Paris, with two
unforgettable trips:
- The Louvre Museum, to see
Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci
- The Opéra Garnier, the national theatre and a
major part of the capital’s heritage
New ! Winter trip
This year, our Winter Camp students will have
the chance to go on a 5-day trip!
The trip will consist of 3 days at
Disneyland Paris, followed by 2 days
in Lyon, second largest student
city in France with an important
architectural heritage.
Options
Aviation (limited places)
Prerequisite: being 15 and taller than 1,65m (5,4 Ft)
Discovery flight: 100 euros / session
Instructional flight: 1150 euros /10 lessons
Registration and payment at École des Roches
Horse riding
Provide your own boots and riding helmets
Fee :35 € for 1 hour
Registration and payment at the equestrian center
Arrival and return transportation
Arrival: Sunday 2nd of January 2022 Return: Friday 4th of February 2022
All students are met at the airport by École des Roches École des Roches teaching staff accompany all students and
teaching staff. assist them with registration and boarding procedures.

during the following times: 10.00 and 15.00 during the following times: 11.00 and 15.00
All arrival or departure at other times or other dates, will automatically be charged 200 euros.
Any extra day, induced by an arrival or departure outside date, will be charged 140 euros.
Payment

- Bank wire (please add 30 € for bank fees)
Deposit 1000 euros, to be paid upon registration
Balance To be paid 3 weeks before the courses start (without prior notice)
Cancellation 3 weeks before the courses start, the school will keep the deposit
Guarantee deposit
We expect a Guarantee Deposit of 300 € to cover possible expenses during the courses, i.e. doctor, pharmacy,
damage caused by the student and /or transfer to the airport in case of appellation. For this deposit, the enclosed
“Guarantee Deposit Agreement” (a credit card authorisation) must be signed. Our school commits to informing and
sending you an invoice before charging your credit card.
Sports and leisure Which sports ? Tennis, boxing, football, handball, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, golf, go-karting, horse riding, aviation. When? With whom ? House Masters arrange various sports activities every day, as well as games and championships. Which surprise events ? Dance party, Karaoke, games, French cooking classes, Pastry workshop, etc... When? With whom ? During afternoons and evenings. With the pupils of the school, supervised by the House Masters and the teaching staff. Equipment What to bring ? Underwear, long pants or skirts, shirt, a warm jumper, raincoat, towels, toiletries, pyjamas, rackets and balls for tennis/table-tennis, bathing suit, sportswear, breeches and boots for horseback riding. Student also need a laptop with earphones. Compulsory: - Uniform: Pupils wear an uniform to go to class every day. Bring your own if you have one, or: a navy blue blazer, a navy blue trousers or skirt, a white shirt and formal footwear. -Sportswear: Bring both sports clothes and sports shoes. A clean pair of shoes is required to access to the school gymnasium. Laundry Available at school for the duration of the stay, providing clothes are properly labelled. Lodging and meals Lodging With the pupils of the school, on the site accommodation in spacious Normandy-style houses with two to eight beds a room, supervised by House Masters. In each house, participants will find: a kitchen, living rooms, fitness room, cinema room, piano... Free Wifi is available across campus. Meals 3 meals / day at the school’s restaurant. Pupils create their meals with the dishes proposed by our gourmet chef. ( The restaurant can provide special meals in case of allergies or special diet). During the excursions: picnics and restaurants. Security Security Discreet and effective round the clock supervision. Presence of 1 adult for every 8 children on the campus.. Rules Alcohol, cigarettes, illegal substances are strictly forbidden at École des Roches. In case of transgression of these rules, the student will be expelled immediately. Health protocol COVID-19 We are asking all our Winter Camp 2022 students to have an health pass validated, which mean: - have a proof of full vaccination (with a vaccine recognised by the European Union) - or proof of a positive RT-PCR or antigenic test result attesting to the recovery of Covid-19, dated at least 11 days and less than 6 months ago. MASK :wearing a mask in class and at the boarding house is mandatory. Students can take it off outside if social distancing is respected.
