Ambassador High is accepting incoming 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students
for the 2021-2022 school year! Ambassador High is a unique program at
Calvin Christian High School that provides students with opportunities to
discover and apply their God-given talents through community-based
learning to develop their gifts to the fullest. Our curriculum is based on nationally-
recognized successful programs to provide an integrated and engaging experience for
each student. Ambassador High students spend three days on campus learning through
project-based learning in integrated courses. The other two days students are learning
through interests and internships at community organizations and businesses. Students
participate in fine arts classes, chapel, small groups, breaks, and extracurricular activities
with the rest of the CCHS student body.

8th grade parents: Willing to Wait starts next week. Please see the previously sent letter
if you still need information. (https://conta.cc/3tl8e8K) If you have a preference regarding
your child's participation, please send in the form. If you choose not to return the form
indicating your wishes, your child will be expected to participate in this program and to be
invited to complete the surveys to evaluate the program.
Parent organization news and needs
Spring is near, and it is time for our group to grow. We are looking for Middle School Parents, and High
School Parents that enjoy giving back to our great school. The commitment is only one meeting a month,
and the reward never ends. Please email ccsparentorg@gccsmi.org if you are interested.
Any parent may volunteer to help with the following (you do not need to be on the parent org
committee):
Annual Calvin Flower Sale is on and just in time for Mother’s Day!!! Back by Covid19 demand, we
will be online with pick up May 7th. Stay tuned for additional details.

Busing Information
When Grandville public has a half day of school, they are unable to provide busing for us
in the afternoon. The following dates will NOT have busing from GPS: 3/19 and 4/1.

When: Saturday, March 20
Time: 12:00 - 2:00pm Doors open at 11:40am
Who: 7th & 8th grade students
Cost: $10/person - Includes shoes, ball, 2 games + some practice time.
Covid Rules: Limited to 100 bowlers, 4 bowlers per lane; grouped by school,
grade; gender

Requested Announcements
I ntroduce a Girl to Engineering Event
MSU is offering an online engineering event for girls in 4th to 8th grade on Saturday, March 13
from 1:00 to 3:30 pm. You can check out more information at this website. The deadline to sign
up is March 1 and enrollment is limited, so act fast if you are interested.
FREE FOOD DISTRIBUTION:
Free meals (breakfast and lunch) are handed out on Monday and Thursdays at Grandville Middle
School 3535 Wilson from 10:00 am -10:30am in the North Parking lot. This is a free program
open to any families in the Grandville area and regardless of income.
Please note, if a snow day occurs on a scheduled Meal Pickup day, the meal will be served on
the next day that students are in session.
Golf Lessons - The Mines is offering affordable lessons. Here are Flyers with more
info, and they are also available outside the ms office.
Grandville Little League is accepting registrations. See this link for more information.
