VAPA On-Campus & Remote
La Jolla Country Day School 2020-21
From the Director of the Visual and Performing ArtsThe creative vision at La Jolla Country Day
School is designed by teaching artists and
centers on the flexibility of education. The
collaborative spirit shared between educators
and students unites disparate parts of life into
the discovery of a new and personal language.
Our students and alumni create with a sense of
self-awareness, empathy, and agency.
Wallpaper by Graphic Design student Joe YinFacing Uncertainty We appreciate your patience as creative educators navigate the new remote landscape of our school campus. Our work centers on collaboration and we aim to create sustainable and inventive ways for students to make new connections with others and within themselves. VAPA educators are analyzing cohort model movements and guidelines to creatively problem-solve and generate new forms of community-building through art, music, band, choir, dance, theater and meaningful culture exchanges. The next few slides will allow you to explore upcoming shifts and current team commitments and explorations.
