8.00am: Bite the bullet and start your day early with
a decent breakfast in bed and great views of the
snow-capped mountains. Room Service is
available from 7.00am.
9.30am: Get some fresh mountain air and an effective
whole-body workout: Cross-country skiing is
the perfect alternative to the downhill version
and ranking high on this year’s top winter trends
list. More than 400 local private ski instructors
are available throughout the region to make you
familiar with the Nordic sport.
11.30am:
Head to our private spa suite and share relaxing
moments together with your better half: Sauna,
steam bath, big tub and lounge corner are
completely for your exclusive use.
2.00pm: Having looked after your body and mind all
morning, it is time to fuel your tummy. Take a
bite at the Rialto, Gstaad’s popular Italian,
located right on the Promenade. People
watching couldn’t be more fun with the
occasional celebrity strutting past.
3.30pm: Soak up some afternoon sun on top of Mount
Eggli whilst sipping a hot chocolate and
enjoying the view.
4.00pm:
Definitely a classic, sledding is still one of the
most popular winter activities for all ages. Rent
a sled at the Eggli top cable car station and
make your way back down to the valley either
dashing or strolling.
6.30pm: It is probably one of the most romantic things to
do during your holidays in Gstaad; Riding
through the beautiful unspoiled countryside in a
horse-drawn carriage. Absorb the beauty of the
natural reserve Lauenen Rohr and head up to the
restaurant Mattestübli for a fondue stop before
winter day
making your way back pass Lauenen Lake.

YOUR HOME IS OUR CASTLE
What does a hotel room have to offer to combine a touch
of luxury and the comfort of a second home? This
question is posed every six months when Gstaad Palace’s
interior designer, Marina Nickels, starts creating and
rebuilding our rooms and suites over a short 12 week
period. This off-season a new Deluxe – One Bedroom
Suite will be born as a result of assembling a Junior Suite
Classic with a Double Small Room. As usual a homely
feeling had to be priority when the design process of the
first Suite including an exclusive wet bar started.
Choosing colours and defining the material is still the
easiest part of the actual creation. The hard work is
talking to suppliers and to meet the expectation of our
guests who have sometimes stayed in the same room for
ten or twenty years. This is why the Palace represents a
second home to many of our guests. In total four of these
new Suites are in the making and will be ready for the
first guests with the beginning of our winter season

One Night In Venice NEW YEAR‘S EVE AT GSTAAD PALACE
Dive into the fascinating world of the Venetian carnival!
The evening starts at 8.00pm with cocktails and canapés
in our Lobby Bar and GreenGo nightclub, followed by
New Year’s Eve at Gstaad Palace a gala dinner. Our popular Dora Live Band and
JP Verdolini will make sure your dancing shoes are put

Eight different sled runs are waiting for you in the
region of Gstaad. Sleds are available at the cable car
stations or the mountain restaurants.
Curling:

instructors to get you started. By the way curling is
mostly played indoors and hence a perfect program point
on an occasional snowy day …
Ice-Skating:
Gstaad’s ice rink, located on the Promenade, provides

to 5.00pm. Skates are available right next to the ice rink.
Sunbathing on the terrace of Wasserngrat:
