                                     WEATHER CANCELLATIONS
                                     Cancellations due to weather will be decided by the program
                                     coordinator as soon as possible. Phone calls will be made to schools
                                     and we will make every effort to post program cancellations and
                                     closings on our Facebook and Twitter pages and email households with
                                     active email addresses. Call 508-790-6345, Ext. 131 for updated
                                     cancellation information.

                                     We reserve the right to change class dates or times. We may also
                                     cancel classes due to low enrollment or other reasons beyond our
                                     control.

                                     COVID-19 GUIDELINES
                                     Barnstable Recreation will be following all Youth and
                                     Amateur Sports guidelines provided by the Massachusetts
                                     Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs.
                                     Each program will have different guidelines depending on
                                     the program/activity. The Program Coordinator or
                                     Recreation staff assigned to each program/activity will
                                     email out guidelines prior to the start of the program. The
                                     goal of the guidelines is to keep all participants,
                                     spectators, and staff safe. We appreciate everyone’s
                                     effort in advance for following all of the guidelines this

WAYS TO REGISTER
      www.tow nofbarnstable.us/recreation or www.townofbarnstable.us/hycc

     On-line registration is available beginning at 8:45 AM on the first day of
      registration (Residents - Friday, November 20, 2020/Non-Residents -
      Friday, November 27, 2020) and then 24/7 each day after. You may use
      our online registration feature at www.townofbarnstable.us/recreation
      and click on the ―On-line Registration‖ button. You will need a user
      name and password in order to utilize the online program registration
      system. Call the Recreation Office during regular office hours (M-F,
      8:30AM-4:30PM) to receive your user name and password. We HIGHLY
      recommend that you sign into the online system a few days before
      registration to make sure your account is working properly. Please be
      advised that our software system WILL NOT allow parents/ guardians to
      UPDATE the birth date, age, or grade of their child(ren). Please verify
      that this information is correct. If it needs to be changed, please contact
      the Recreation Division at 508-790-6345, or

      recweb@town.barnstable.ma.us. Unfortunately, if you do not
      periodically review your household account for accuracy, your child(ren)
      may be locked out of a program because of age/grade restrictions.
     Walk-in registration hours are ONLY Friday, November 20 from 8:45 AM
      to 11:00 AM, at 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601. You will receive a
      registration form and a number for appointment. Park in the front lot of
      the HYCC and fill out the registration form. Please have it completed
      prior to entering the building. Numbers will be called two at a time and
      only one person per household allowed in the building. Please wear a
      mask/face covering inside the building.
     Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the
      program (MasterCard, Visa, Money Order, or Check payable to
      the Town of Barnstable).

                                RULES AND REGULATIONS
      Participants and Parents must follow Recreation/HYCC Discipline Procedures and
       Parent Code of Conduct when participating in a program or at the HYCC. These
       documents can be found on our website.
      Town of Barnstable is not responsible for any lost or stolen property at any of our
       programs.
      Barnstable Recreation follows regulations stating that participants are not allowed
       to wear jewelry while participating in sport activities.
      All times, dates, and programs are subject to change. Contact the Program
       Coordinator in charge of your program for any updated schedules or changes.
      Resident registration will begin Friday, November 20, 2020.
      Non-Resident registration will begin on Friday, November 27, 2020.
      Pre-Registrations, early sign ups, emails, mail ins and faxes are not accepted.
      Non-Resident fees are doubled unless otherwise specified.
      Registration is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis and age/grade
       guidelines are strictly observed. You may only register one household at a time.
      Proof of residency: Driver’s license, Vehicle Registration or Personal Check. PO
       BOXES ARE NOT ACCEPTED AS PROOF OF RESIDENCY.
      Financial Aid is available for all qualifying applicants. To apply, complete and
       submit a Financial Aid form with your Tax Returns and ANY OTHER
       DOCUMENT ATION EVIDENCING ASSISTANCE YOU ARE CURRENTLY RECEIVING such as
       Sec. 8, Disability, child support, etc.
      Financial Aid applicants must pay 50% of the program costs at the time of
       registration.
      Prior to the start of the program, refunds will be given minus a $10 Administration
       fee.
      REFUNDS ARE NOT ISSUED ON OR AFTER THE START OF THE PROGRAM. NO
       SWITCHING OF CLASSES WILL BE ALLOWED AFTER YOUR FIRST SCHEDULED CLASS
       OF THE SEASON.
       Participants who are absent from a class will not be allowed to make up the class.

in CPR, First Aid and AED. We are ready for you and are accepting

In collaboration with Cape Cod Family Table Collaborative and their
partners, we will be helping families in need with free meals each
Friday night from 3pm-5pm. Please pull into the HYCC parking lot and
follow the directions for meal pickup. For more info go to Family

Join us for arts and crafts, games and much, much more. Children
should bring a lunch and drink each day. Wear clothing that is
weather appropriate for outside play! All children and staff must

                                   (No Program 12/22, 12/26, 12/29, 2/13, 2/16, 2/20). The first 3
                                   weeks will consist of instruction and the last 8 weeks practices and
                                   games. Learn skills, game play and strategy, team work and
                                   sportsmanship. Practices will take place on Tuesday from 5:30-7:00
                                   PM. Games will be held on Saturdays. Fee includes coaches and a

                                   opportunity to continue playing basketball throughout the winter
                                   season. The program will consist of one evaluation day and ten weeks
                                   of games including playoffs. This is a fun league for all skill levels. Fee
                                   includes t-shirt, staff, and referees. Program is limited to 40

A fun filled Monday afternoon of Futsal (indoor soccer). The UKSD team
has worked hard to raise money to make this program FREE for all
participants. Play is indoors so bring your sneakers or indoor soccer

All fitness levels welcome! Pedal on spin bikes while listening to music

WCFK LEGO ROBOTICS I : IN THE WILD (GRADES 4 & 5)WBCB 313651 A         $132

The We-Do Robotics system features LEGO models that incorporate
working motors and sensors with simple programming software. Kids
will work as scientists and engineers to build program and test working
models; building dancing birds, drumming monkeys and roaring lions.

A fun and funky workout with great music using lot of upper body,
core and leg muscles. The class will work your whole body and push

CODING CLASSES WITH CODE WIZ: All sessions require a
                 Personal Computer, Mac or Chromebook (not all
                 classes work with Chromebook). Please see
                 descriptions for details. Code Wiz maintains a low
                 coach: student ratio of 1:3 for kids ages 7-9 and
                 1:4 for kids ages 10+. Code Wiz aligns its
                 curriculum with the K-12 Computer Science
                 Framework represents a vision in which all
                 students engage in the concepts and practices of
