About the instructors

                  Rafael Castillo-Triana is an international attorney, CEO for
                  Latin America and Emerging Markets of The Alta Group. He
                  has currently active involvement in the equipment leasing
                  industry worldwide, with consulting engagements in Latin
                  America, Africa and the Middle East.

                   With over 35 years of experience in the equipment leasing and
finance industry in emerging markets, and member of The Alta Group since
1997, Rafael has provided continuous consulting services to multinational
leasing companies and equipment manufacturers such as CIT Group Inc,
Microsoft Financing, Oracle Financial Services, CNH Capital, Siemens Financial
Services, BMW Financial Services and other.

He holds a doctoral degree form Javeriana University and a master’s degree in
Economics from the same University, and is a former University professor of
Universities Los Andes, Javeriana, Sergio Arboleda, Externado de Colombia and
Colegio Mayor El Rosario in Colombia. Author of the book “Legal Aspects of
Equipment Leasing in Latin America”, published by Kluwer Law International in
2000.

Rafael has represented the government of Colombia in both the Diplomatic
Conference that adopted the UNIDROIT convention on International Financial
Leasing and in the Governmental Experts meetings of UNIDROIT as well as
member of the Advisory Board for the Model Law on Leasing. He also provides
continuous legal and consulting advise throughout emerging markets. Engaged
by the World Bank Group Rafael has participated in the drafting of the laws and
regulations in Tanzania, Madagascar, Ghana, Rwanda, Cameroon and Lesotho.
Under assignment with the USAID Rafael wrote the leasing law reform adopted
in 2011 by the former Soviet Republic of Georgia.

Rafael is guest speaker in several international events and chairs every year the
Annual Latin American Leasing conference as well as the Middle East Leasing
Summit.
Hans Geijsen is a Senior Consultant with Invigors
                              EMEA Ltd, the European arm of The Alta Group.

                              He is a commercially astute business leader
                              offering 35+ years of experience in supporting
                              strategic organizational growth, utilizing a wealth
                              of knowledge acquired while providing consulting
                              and interim management services to multiple
                              companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

He has worked for leading Dutch financial institutions such as ABN AMRO NV,
Fortis NV and DLL Group.

Hans has an impressive track record of building high-performing vendor leasing
programmes in Europe, the US and Canada. Hans has a thorough understanding
of the requirements for developing, implementing and successfully running
vendor programmes.

Since Hans joined Invigors EMEA Ltd in 2010 he consulted and supported
companies in evaluating a strategic fit of potential opportunities and
implementing effective solutions to ensure business profitability in Europe as
well as in the Middle East. Skilled in providing consultation as well as hands-on
support to international companies and high net worth clients while developing
strategic solutions to broaden business horizons in terms of new geographical
locations and business capabilities.

Hans is also the initiator of the MENA Business Confidence Survey, which will
be conducted on a bi-annual basis in 10 countries in the Middle Eastern region,
which input is also used in the World Leasing Yearbook. He is also the organizer
of the Lease Conference Istanbul and a regular speaker at the Middle East
Leasing Summit.

Hans holds an Executive MBA from the University of Hertfordshire (UK) and an
undergraduate degree at the Windesheim University of Business Economics
(NL).
