              2020 is….

              “Time for Nature”,
Environment
day           with a focus on
2020
              “Time for active citizenship”.

              Many Examples during distance
              Learning Lessons

This year the topic is
              dedicated to
Environment
day
2020          Biodiversity and
              global environmental
              change.

During The whole day in Europe and
in the rest of the world different
events will be organized: concerts,
webinars, conferences, meetings,
Science Seminars
And also our Institute….

decided to dedicate
 An important attention to this
         central topic.
We continue helping children and
  students in organizing their
           schooling.

Despite Covid 19 and lockdown,
teachers and children with their
families continued to study and
learn all together, but in different
ways.

Our institute ,
member of Unesco
Associated Schools,

continues the Unesco Project ,
  dedicated during this scholastic year
  to “ The Agenda 2030: new lifestyles
         for a more sustainable world”.

Nowadays, for young people, talk and reflect
  about biodiversity is urgent and necessary:

  - Many animal species risk the
              extinction
- Many eco-systems are destroyed
         - Climate changes
    - The Exploitation of natural
              resources
          - Air pollution....

 Now It' s necessary to realize
     actions to stop and
  reverse the decline of the
            Planet.

Earth I Love You!

• The topic has been “ Earth, I love
  you”. A sort of virtual Museum that
  collected the paintings of many
  schools of the Province of Lucca.
  The result has been Amazing, a
  great and unique video clip,
  created in collaboration with the
  students of the Boccherini Institute
  and the tenor Maurizio Marchini for
  the music( “Nessun Dorma”, from
  Giacomo Puccini’s Opera Turandot).

Reaffirming the role of Education is necessary for …….
