BACHELOR’S DEGREE TOP-UP COURSES

Why opt for a top-up course?
If you choose to study a top-up degree after completion of an HND
or foundation degree, you can graduate with two distinct qualifi-
cations (HND and BA (Hons)) for approximately £9,000 less than a
full three-year bachelor’s degree. That combination of practical and
theoretical skills in two subjects could be the point of difference
that helps you achieve your professional goals.

UKCBC’s new HND and bachelor’s top-up pathway (delivered in
partnership with Bath Spa University) gives students the choice
to gain two undergraduate qualifications for a lower cost than one
undergraduate bachelor’s degree. The combined courses teach
students a blend of practical, vocation skills through the HND pro-
gramme and academic, theoretical knowledge through the bach-
                                   elor’s top-up degree. The combined HND and bachelor’s top-up
degree courses can be completed in three years, meaning you’ll
graduate alongside your peers. Broaden your professional options

For the vast majority of professions, achieving a degree results in a
higher salary. That might be right at the beginning of your profes-

sector to find out how, for example, a BA (Hons) in Business and
Management (top-up) will lead to better short- and long-term career
prospects and get prepared for your professional future.

Top-up degree students will learn a broader range of skills during
an honours degree programme when compared with a job-focused
vocational qualification. This can expand your professional pros-
pects to include a wide range of roles and sectors. Indeed, honours
