Page TwoGreetings all,
I would like to firstly welcome back all those who have been away from church attendance. It is really good to
see many more people returning back to Mass. I am delighted that the Parish family is gathering together in
greater numbers. As most of you already know, the only protocol that we need to follow at
this point is that you should wear a mask if you are not vaccinated. Of course, all others can
wear one if they chose to.
I’d like to wish everyone a wonderful 4th of July weekend as we celebrate the great day of
Independence. May the Lord continue to help us to be a great people and a great nation.
Allow me once more to thank all those who have continued to donate to our parish and to
many other good causes (i.e. Cardinal’s Appeal, Midnight Run, Food Pantry, etc.) in spite of not being physically
present with us for Mass. I hope to see all of you very soon.
Over the course of the next couple of months we will attempt to gather together our Altar Servers for some
remedial practices to eventually bringing them back to the Altar.
Lastly, mark your calendar and plan to be with us for our welcome back Parish barbeque on
Sunday, September 19th. The day will be offered to all Parishioners free of charge and will
provide a great opportunity for us to spend some time together and share some good food.
That’s it for now. God Bless you and God Bless America.
Fr. John
I will praise You, Lord, for You have rescued me.

Your Gift of Prayer is needed for the July 23, 2021 Run
(4th since onset of COVID-19)
Please gather your loved ones and offer up the following parish prayer:
Holy Spirit Prayer for The Midnight Run
Almighty Father,
please bless this Midnight Run.
When the homeless receive the food
especially prepared for them,
we pray that through the food
they would experience the extension of
Your love for them.
We pray Father,
that as they accept these gifts of clothing,
not only would their bodies be protected,
but their spirits would be cloaked
in the majesty of Your love,
and they would feel
Your warmth and tenderness.
Guide us, O Lord,
in this mission.

we are channels of
Your kindness and generosity

As our Superintendent, Michael Deegan has stated, “Our Catholic School system has emerged as a beacon of
hope and excellence to our communities and the Nation.” Here in Northern Westchester and Putnam, our
Catholic school students benefitted from returning to the classroom last September and continuing in-person
instruction throughout the year!
As the 2020-2021 school year winds down, we want to thank the students and families, faculty and staff,
principals and pastors, at each of our schools, along with the dedicated team in the Department of Education at
the Archdiocese of New York for making it work!
Our planning for 2021-2022 school year is well underway for the return of full in-person instruction for all grade
levels, along with the return of before school care and after school care programs. Our schools are thriving and
many families have chosen to transition to Catholic schools due to the disruption of their children’s education
throughout the pandemic. Spots are still available in most grades at St. Columbanus School in Cortlandt Manor,
St. Patrick School in Yorktown Heights, St. James the Apostle School in Carmel, and St. Augustine School in
Ossining. Financial assistance may be available at participating schools for eligible students.
If you are interested in learning more about our schools, please email Patty Ryan at patricia.ryan@archny.org to
schedule a virtual or after school tour, meet our building leaders and faculty, and see firsthand, the Catholic
School Difference! All are welcome!
