HURRICANES OVERVIEW
The Hurricanes Rugby League Jamaica was founded in 2010 with the view of becoming the
first semi professional rugby league team in the Caribbean.
Our long term plan is to compete in the United States Rugby League competition
(www.usarl.com) and to become the premier rugby league franchise throughout the
Caribbean and North American regions.
A large focus of the Hurricanes is development of young Jamaican rugby league players, from
schoolboy ages, right through to open age. Through a strong commitment to community and
social development, the Hurricanes aim to produce not only great players but also great role
models in general society.
Rugby League may still be an up-and-coming sport in Jamaica, but through the Hurricanes
we can provide hope and opportunity to the youth of our country to one day represent not
only the Hurricanes abroad, but also represent Jamaica in international competition.

PLANS FOR 2014

The HRL have identified 5 major ambitions for season 2014, namely:
-     Hosting 2 touring teams in Kingston, Jamaica in May/June
-     Travelling to Philadelphia, USA to compete in the USARL 9s in May
-     Host the travelling Gold Coast Maori RL in Kingston and Mo Bay in September
-     Conduct a semi professional affiliated 9s program in Jamaica in November
-     Develop facilities to cater towards ongoing development of Hurricanes players

To achieve our lofty ambitions, the HRL are now seeking to partner
with progressive business and individuals to continue to drive
brand awareness and assist with the costs associated with travel,
uniforms and other operating expenses.
In 2014 we are offering packages in the following categories:

PRINCIPLE/PLATINUM
As Principle sponsor of the Hurricanes Rugby League Jamaica, your
company will enjoy the following benefits and exposure:

-   Naming Rights to the Hurricanes senior squad

-   Logo placement on front centre of (or highly prominent position) on
    all Hurricanes seniors playing, training and leisure apparel

-   VIP tickets to all HRL matches and social and corporate events

-   Advertising (in multiple positions) on the HRL website
    (www.hurricanesrl.com) and across all social media platforms

-   Match day advertising on signage and programs, along with PA
    announcements

-   Player appearances / marketing campaign availability

-   Brand / Industry Exclusivity

PREMIUM / GOLD
Premium / Gold sponsors will have the opportunity to promote
brand awareness / products / services through way of the
following:

-   Logo placement on Hurricanes senior playing and replica
    jerseys, training apparel and some leisure apparel items

-   VIP tickets to all HRL matches and social and corporate
    events

-   Advertising (in multiple positions) on the HRL website
    (www.hurricanesrl.com) and across all social media platforms

-   Match day advertising on signage and programs, along with PA
    announcements

-   Player appearances / marketing campaign availability

-   Brand / Industry Exclusivity

ASSOCIATE / SILVER
Associate / Silver sponsors will have the opportunity to promote
brand awareness / products / services through way of the
following:

-   Allocated a player in the Hurricanes senior squad to “partner”

-   VIP tickets to all HRL matches and social and corporate
    events

-   Advertising (in multiple positions) on the HRL website
    (www.hurricanesrl.com) and across all social media platforms

-   Match day advertising on signage and programs, along with PA
    announcements

-   Player appearances / marketing campaign availability

Specific details of Associate/Silver agreement can be discussed
with Hurricanes Corporate Relations Manager Renee Lee to
ensure that a package is tailored to your companies
requirements.

OFFICIAL SUPPLIER /
BRONZE
The Hurricanes Rugby League Jamaica are seeking official suppliers
within the following industries / fields of business:

-   Accommodation
-   Transport
-   Logistics
-   Airline
-   Medical Supplies
-   Performance Equipment
-   Footballs
-   Sports Drinks
-   Sports Nutrition / Supplements
-   General Nutrition
-   Law Firms
-   Accountant

As an Official Supplier, your company will have the opportunity to
leverage off the Hurricanes brand through way of contra based
sponsorship. Advertising of the partnership and Supplier will take the
form of website, social media, match day programs, marketing
campaigns and at social and corporate events.be involved with the
Hurricanes via placement product / utilization and be entitled to a number of great
branding, networking and advertising platforms through the Hurricanes.

AFFILIATED 9S
In addition to the Hurricanes travelling to the USA and having inbound
touring teams come to Jamaica, we will also be operating a rugby
league 9s tournament of which will be used to further promote the
Hurricanes brand, whilst also acting as a recruitment ground for
future players.
2013 will feature the first addition of the Affiliated 9s competition,
with 3 teams competing across 3 tournaments. The teams will be:

-   Kingston Storm
-   St Andrew Thunder
-   St Catherine Scorchers

The HRL are seeking to have this series become an annual event in
November with the possibility of more teams being included.

Sponsorship packages that will be offered for the Affiliate 9s
tournaments will be:

ACADEMY
Help support the youth of Jamaican rugby
league, through sponsoring the Hurricanes
Academy. The Academy aims to support the
continued development of high level players
aged 14-19 by providing them with advanced
training and playing opportunities, along with
a strong focus on the overall character
development of these young players.
