Dear Reader,
This cycle of prayer covers the period for the Church Year 2017/2017
beginning on Advent Sunday 2017 and ending on the Sunday next
before Advent Sunday 2017. I would like to thank Brother Juniper, CGS.,
for his invaluable help in compiling this year’s cycle.
I would also like to draw your attention to the special dates listed inside
the back cover.
Comments and requests for the 2017-2018 Prayer Cycle may be sent to
me at the address below.
Every care has been taken in the formation of this prayer cycle but it
should also be checked against the Diocesan & Provincial Websites for
accuracy especially in the names of clergy and bishops.

3DIOCESAN PRAYER
O
ALMIGHTY and most merciful Father,
who by the child-bearing of blessed Mary
Ever-Virgin hast revenged our ruin and
by the ministry of thy holy angels dost ever
succour and defend us: Keep, we beseech thee,
our Diocese under thy continual help and
protection; that we, ever needful of thy grace,
may bring forth for thee the fruit of good works
and the harvest of souls; through Jesus Christ
thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with
thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost ever, One
God, world without end. Amen.
