–– POLICIES & PROCEDURES ––
           MENU
           • Final menu selections and estimated guest count must be provided two weeks prior to your event. A final guaranteed
             guest count and meal selections, if applicable, must be provided five days prior to your event. Apple Mountain will
             prepare to serve your guaranteed number, plus an additional 5% overage. All charges will be based upon the guarantee
             or the actual number of guests served, whichever is greater.
           • Parties of 75 or more guests offering a plated menu, can allow guests to choose from two meal selections in addition to a
             vegetarian and children’s option.
           • Parties of fewer than 75 guests offering a plated menu, can allow guests to choose from up to four selections in addition
             to a vegetarian and children’s option.
           • Parties of 30 or fewer can allow guests to choose from two to four plated selections the day of the event. Larger parties
             need to select in advance.

           FOOD AND BEVERAGE
           • All food and beverage must be purchased from Apple Mountain unless prior authorization is received.
           • Michigan state law prohibits alcoholic beverages from being brought onto Apple Mountain property for consumption.
             Apple Mountain is the only licensed authority to sell and serve alcoholic beverages on property. Any alcohol being
             consumed that was not purchased from the resort will be confiscated.
           • Guests consuming alcoholic beverages must present a valid form of identification stating that they are of the legal
             drinking age in the state of Michigan.

           OUTDOOR FUNCTIONS
   2018    • Apple Mountain does not guarantee an indoor backup space for outdoor venues. Provided that an indoor space is
             available, a decision to relocate an event must be communicated at least six hours prior to the start of the event.

 HOLIDAY   • In the event the weather appears to be threatening, and an indoor location is deemed necessary, Apple Mountain
             reserves the right to move a function without guest approval.

  PARTY    DECORATIONS
           • Guests may provide any decorations they choose, however, nothing can be attached to the premises in any fashion.

PLANNING
           • Signs, banners and displays may only be erected with prior authorization. The names and logos of Apple Mountain are
             exclusive property of the resort. Any unauthorized use of these names and logo is prohibited.
           • Any candles being used as decor must be enclosed in a candle holder and/or be a smokeless dripless candle.

  GUIDE    VENDORS
           • Vendors will have access to the reserved space a minimum of two hours prior to the event.
           • All music or other forms of entertainment must conclude by 12am and the premises must be vacated no later than 1am.
           • Photography and videography can be taken on the property with the exception of on the golf course and areas reserved
             for other resort functions. Cart paths cannot be crossed.

           PRICING & PAYMENTS
           • Prices are guaranteed 90 days prior to the event and/or when a food tasting, if applicable, takes place.
           • A deposit is required to be paid within 30 days of the reservation or the space will be released.
           • Deposits are refundable for 30 days from the date they are paid but can always be transferred to a different date.
             Cancelled events have six months to rebook and apply the deposit, otherwise the deposit is forfeited.
           • Events cancelled after 30 days will be unable to receive a deposit refund and may also be responsible for additional
             cancellation fees as listed below:
               • cancelled within 60 to 180 days of the event 25%
               • cancelled within 30 to 60 days of the event 50%
               • cancelled within 5 to 30 days of the event 75%
               • cancelled within 5 days of the event 100%
           • All refunded deposits are issued in check form. Any deposit requiring a credit card refund is subject to a 10% surcharge.
           • Events with a guest count of 100 or more must pay 75% of the estimated balance due prior to the day of the event. The
             remaining balance is due upon conclusion of the event.

           SEPARATE CHECKS
           • Parties of fewer than 30 guests can pay by separate checks provided that prior authorization has been received.
           • Parties paying separately are required to meet the agreed upon food and beverage minimum. If the minimum is not met,
             the remaining balance will be charged to the credit card on file that was required to secure the reservation.

           SECURITY & LIABILITY
           • Security is provided by Apple Mountain for all functions as deemed necessary. No charge is applied for this service.
           • Guests are not required to take out additional liability insurance policies for events at Apple Mountain.
           • Apple Mountain is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of articles left on premises prior to, during or following a function.
           • The host assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all guests in attendance and for damage to any part of the
             premises or for any theft of Apple Mountain property.
           • Apple Mountain is not responsible for any damages arising out of the inability to perform services due to inclement weather,
             mechanical or electrical difficulties, accidents or any unforeseen events beyond the reasonable control of the resort.

           UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEMS
           Apple Mountain places the highest priority on the privacy and safety of guests and staff, as well as avoiding any disruption to
           the guest experience. To this end, Apple Mountain prohibits the use of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), including, but not
           limited to, drones and radio-controlled aircraft and devices.
           This prohibition includes drones used for any purpose, whether filming or videotaping, for commercial or personal purposes,
           or by media and journalists. This policy extends to any drones launched or operated from resort property, as well as drones
           launched from private property but flying within resort boundaries.
           In limited circumstances when drone use is authorized by Apple Mountain, in association with resort event or marketing
           applications, such use must be in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations, as well as
           those policies separately established by Apple Mountain.
           Any violation of this policy may involve suspension of your access privileges to Apple Mountain, as well as confiscation of any
           prohibited equipment. Violators may also be subject to any damages, including, but not limited to, damages for violations of
           privacy and/or physical or personal injuries or property damage, as well as regulatory and legal fees.
