2018 PROJECT GUIDE
Kingdom Builders are a group of fully committed individuals and families who prayerfully commit to give, over and above their tithes, to global missions, local church expansion and future Christian leaders.
CHURCH FAMILY, The Bible says, “to whom much is given, much is required,” and if you’re like me, you realize you’ve been blessed in this life with a whole lot. In light of this, we have a choice to either spend our lives on ourselves or spend our lives for Jesus and others. Kingdom Builders allows us to spend our lives for something so much greater! Kingdom Builders will enable us to focus on Global, Local, and Future initiatives through sacrificial and over and above giving. At Summit Park, we often say, “the best is yet to come.” I believe this year with Kingdom Builders, our greatest impact is ahead of us. This is a very big year for us as we have set a goal that stretches us to go way beyond what we’ve ever done before. This year we will be focusing on the next generation, adding a new Summit Park location in south Lee’s Summit, and supporting many other organizations making a huge impact around our world. At Summit Park, our heart is to be a generous church. We want to see the
Kingdom of God expand with every dollar we invest. For Kingdom Builders,
we will be focusing on three specific areas of funding: Global Missions, Local
Church Expansion, and Future Christian Leaders. When we give ourselves to
this, we are literally fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus. This year for
Kingdom Builders, our goal is to raise $500,000 to do just that. When you
give to Kingdom Builders, God’s marvelous kingdom expands!
GOAL AMOUNT | $500,000
In Mark 16, Jesus commands us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel
to ALL of creation. Every year, Summit Park gives 10% of our tithes and
offerings to missions. As of February 2018, we are supporting 31 missionaries
G LOBAL and missions organizations around the world. Through Kingdom Builders,
we are able to surpass these benchmarks every year and give above and beyond.
Kingdom Builders gives us the opportunity to support key missions projects
such as providing vehicles and humanitarian aid and resources for pastoral
development and church planting. Everyone in every nation deserves a
chance to hear the Gospel.
Jesus tells us in Matthew chapter 5 that the local church is the light of the
world. Kingdom Builders is committed to funding the growth of the local
L O CA L church through expanding and adding campuses. Our goal is to see the
ministry of Summit Park expand all throughout the Kansas City Metro
area and always have room for those who are not here yet.
One of our main priorities as a church is to invest in the next generation.
In 1 Timothy, Paul encourages young leaders to set the example in speech,
FUTU R E conduct, love, faith and purity. One purpose of Kingdom Builders is to come
alongside our future Christian leaders to help foster a love for God, a hunger
for his word, and a passion for the lost. We are working with organizations
that care for the physical and spiritual needs of our future leaders.
Global Missions 2018 PROJECT LIST: $70,000
Live Dead Church Plants Live Dead is an organization committed to taking the church where it does not exist. We are partnering with Live Dead to help them spread the gospel to the 400 unreached people groups in the Arab World. 2.8 BILLION PEOPLE IN THE WORLD DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE GOSPEL
Convoy of Hope GOAL AMOUNT | $20,000 Convoy of Hope brings help and hope to the impoverished, hungry and hurting people of the world. In twenty years, more than 80 million people have been blessed by Convoy of Hope. Their vision is to feed children in need, organize community outreaches, help farmers increase their yield in developing nations, provide immediate disaster relief and to partner with like-minded organizations and rural churches. CONVOY OF HOPE HAS HELPED MORE THAN 80 MILLION PEOPLE IN OVER 100 NATIONS
Builder’s International is a construction ministry that

Kingdom Builders is partnering with several Kansas
City Outreach ministries that are already making a
huge impact in our community. Organizations like
Big Give KC Harvesters, Lee’s Summit Social Services and Rachel
House are changing people’s lives. Partnering with
these organizations gives us the opportunity to invest
back into our city and reach even more people
for Jesus.World Serve International GOAL AMOUNT | $15,000 World Serve brings clean and safe drinking water to East African communities in need to accelerate education, health, and opportunity. They seek to facilitate sustainable water projects with incredible impact, especially for children and women. Today more than 3,000,000 people receive clean water from projects funded and/or facilitated by World Serve. 783 MILLION PEOPLE WORLDWIDE DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO CLEAN AND SAFE WATER

2018 PROJECT LIST: $23,000Summit Park Scholarships We believe the students of today are the next generation of leaders in the Church. We desire to train and equip young people to make a tangible difference for the glory of God. Through Kingdom Builders, we will be giving scholarships to select students of Summit Park who attend Christian universities.
Teen Challenge Teen Challenge exists to transform lives by providing healing, hope and God’s unconditional love to youth at risk. As a ministry, they assist teens in gaining freedom from chemical addictions and other life controlling problems by addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Our church believes that all teens should have the opportunity to grow into healthy adults who are educated and free from addiction so they can become who God has called them to be.
Backyard Orphans GOAL AMOUNT | $7,000 Backyard Orphans is a ministry which trains Church leaders to develop a foster care, adoption and support ministry. Our partnership with Backyard Orphans will help existing foster parents and encourage new families and individuals in the process of becoming foster parents and/or serving as a respite home.

At Summit Park we believe that every Christ-follower is called to be generous and tithe (10%) on their full income to their local church.
