Park.

Come join us for family-friendly movies in the
park. Movie begins at dusk; bring your own lawn

Join the City of Oviedo and Oviedo Citizens
in Action for a day of celebration for Dr.
Martin Luther King Jr. The MLK Day
Parade will start off the morning followed
by a family fun day. There will be games,
live entertainment, food trucks, vendors
and inflatable games.

Mardi Gras
Center Lake Park is transformed into Bourbon
Street, New Orleans themed festival. Mardi
Gras is back and better than ever. Come for an
evening of Cajun and Creole cuisine, specialty
vendors and live entertainment.

Look for a stilt walker, mime, juggler, a
variety of bands, and much more!

Bark and Brew
Bring your favorite pooch (friendly dogs on a
leash are welcome) and come out for a day of
craft beer tastings and family fun. There will be

Marshmallow Drop
Watch a helicopter take flight to drop
hundreds of marshmallows at Oviedo Sports
Complex. Once the marshmallows have
dropped, children can race to collect as many
as possible that will be redeemed for candy.
Then, join vendors and entertainment for a
morning of fun.

This is a three day haunted house
event. On Thursday, it will be the
haunted house only (no "carnival"
with inflatables, games, etc). On both
Friday and Saturday the event will
include inflatable games, carnival
games, and food and drink available
for purchase. During the first hour
each night, the haunted house will be
family-friendly with lights on.

The Nutcracker performance by University
Performing Arts Centre is a two-act ballet
that was originally produced by
Tchaikovsky. This is a free event.
Build a Bear
December 2, 2018 1pm-4pm
You can create a bear to donate to a child
in Nemours Children's Hospital who will be
in the hospital on Christmas. Cookies and
Cocoa will also be available.
Santa Paws
December 5, 2018 6pm-8pm
Make sure Fido is dressed to impress!
Santa will be available to take pictures
with your fur babies. Fur baby friendly
vendors will be on site.
Ugly Sweater Party
December 6, 2018 6pm-9pm
Join us for a wonderful night of wine,
beer, and appetizers. Wear your best ugly
sweater to win!12 Days of Christmas
Snow Mountain
Snow will fall once again in Oviedo! Fresh
from the North Pole, 70 tons of wonderful
white snow will be at Oviedo on the Park.
Enjoy the wintery treat with sledding, and
just general winter fun. Snow Mountain
will include a tremendous snow slide,
snow pits, a holiday train, swan boats, a
giant snow globe, cookies and hot cocoa,
many holiday vendors and entertainment
throughout the night!

Breakfast with Santa
Santa will be making a special trip from
the North Pole to join us at the Oviedo
Amphitheatre and Cultural Center for
breakfast. A breakfast of pancakes,
sausage and eggs will be served. Come
early to ensure that you will be around for
Santa's story time and activities.

Come out for the free, monthly Movie in the
Park hosted by the City of Oviedo! This is an
outdoor event that takes place on the lawn
at Center Lake Park.
Handel’s Messiah
December 15, 2018 7pm-9pm
Come join the community at City of Oviedo’s
6th Annual Performance of Handel’s
Messiah. This family friendly show is a well-
known choral masterpiece written by
Handel, a German composer.
Jingle Bell Run
December 16, 2018 7am-11am
Run over to Center Lake Park to join us at
the Jingle Bell Run 5k. Registration opens at
7am and the run will begin at 8am. Vendors
will be available before and after the run for

Many opportunities to sponsor individual 12 Days of Christmas events are also available.Rental Opportunities
Center Lake Park Amphitheatre and Cultural Center is the crown jewel within
the City’s Oviedo on the Park redevelopment area. Located off Oviedo Boulevard
at 357 Center Lake Lane, the Cultural Center provides the ideal location for
weddings, receptions, banquets, parties, retreats and performances. The
Cultural Center includes a grand ballroom, large amphitheatre, outdoor patio,
and beautiful views overlooking Center Lake.
Rentals options include a set-up and break-down of tables, chairs, and a dance
floor along with access to the two private green rooms, A/V system, and
televisions. Upgrades include tablecloths, pipe and drape, pedestals, outdoor
ceremonial chairs, an arch and a Gifn photo booth.
