National
    o   DAR American Indian Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to help Native Americans students of any age, any tribe and in any state striving to
get an education at the undergraduate or graduate levels. However, undergraduate students are given
preference. All awards are judged based on financial need and academic achievement.

Applicants must be Native Americans (proof of American Indian blood is required by letter or proof papers) in
financial need and have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. There will be no exceptions.
            o   Award Amount: One-time award of $4,000.00

    o   Frances Crawford Marvin American Indian Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded once a year to one student. A candidate for this scholarship must be enrolled full time
at a 2- or 4- year college or university. Applicants must be Native Americans and proof of American Indian blood
is required by letter or proof papers. Students must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and have
a 3.25 GPA or higher. A recipient may reapply for this scholarship and be considered along with other members
of the applicant pool.The amount of scholarship is based on total return of the endowment, and may vary year to
year.

    o   Truman D. Picard Scholarship
The Truman D. Picard Scholarship is dedicated to the support of Native American students pursuing higher
education in natural resources. Applicants must submit a letter of application, resume, three letters of
recommendation and evidence of validated enrollment in a federally recognized tribe or Alaska Native
Corporation, as established by the U.S. government (i.e. a photocopy of an enrollment card, front and back, or
Certificate of Indian Blood) (CIB). Applicants must complete the FAFSA and demonstrate financial need. For more

   o   AISES A.T. Anderson Scholarship
Students must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited two-year or four-year
college/university for the 2021-2022 academic year. Must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. Any STEM
related degrees such as mathematics, medical sciences, physical science, technology, science, engineering, or
natural resources is eligible.
           o   Award Amount: Undergraduate = $1,000

   o   American Indian Education Foundation (AIEF) Scholarship Program
   The Undergraduate Scholarship service* supports educational opportunities for American Indian and Alaska
   Native students by awarding more than 200 scholarships annually. Must maintain a GPA of at least 2.0 and
   submit grades each semester. Must provide ACT scores. Enroll in an accredited technical school, college, or
   university as a full-time undergraduate.
           o   Award Amount: $2,000 a year

   o   Catching the Dream Scholarship
   CTD’s objective is to recognize and reward outstanding student achievement. This supplemental award is
   intended to help Native American Indian students are ¼ or more degree American Indian and an enrolled
   member of a US Tribe. Students must attend a college or university on a full-time basis, seeking a BA or
   higher. Catching the Dream scholarships are awarded for life. If you win, you will never have to apply again.
   However, if you are not selected for scholarship with CTD, you cannot apply again.
           o   Award Amount: based upon financial income
           o   Due Date: for Fall semesters, April 30, 2021 / Spring semesters, September 16, 2020

   o   American Indian Services (AIS) Scholarship
   Applicant must be enrolled or will enroll as a matriculated student in a university, college, junior college or
   technical school (incoming freshman accepted). At least ¼ enrolled member of a Federally Recognized
   Native American tribe. Full-time or part-status. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 must be established and
   maintained after the first semester/quarter of college. Completed FAFSA.

   o   Association of American Indian Affairs Scholarship
   The Association on American Indian Affairs has been providing Native American student scholarships since
   1947 and provides scholarships to undergraduate and graduate Native American students who are citizens/
   members of their Tribal Nation – whether or not their Nation is recognized by the federal government. The
   Association's Scholarships are provided to students twice per year until they graduate, as long as they
   maintain a 2.5 GPA and attend full-time. Our mission is to support students who are connected to their Tribal
   Nation and Indian Country and wish to utilize their degree to serve their Nation

   o   American Indian College Fund Full Circle Scholarship
   The American Indian College Fund provides scholarships to American Indian and Alaska Native college
   students seeking under-graduate and graduate degrees at tribal colleges, nonprofit, and accredited schools.

   o   Wells Fargo Scholarship for Undergraduates
   The Wells Fargo Scholarships for Undergraduate American Indian and Alaska Native Students will fund full-
   time and degree-seeking college freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors who hold a current GPA of 2.7
   or higher with up to $5,000 for one year of study in any chosen major at any accredited institution in the
   United States. Must be an enrolled member of a federally recognized American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native
   group or a state-recognized Tribe in the U.S. OR provide documentation of ancestry to possession of one-
   fourth degree Indian blood of a state or federally recognized Tribe.

   o   All Native American High School Academic Team
   Awarded to high school seniors who have outstanding academic achievements, leadership in school, civic
   and extracurricular activities, and motivation to serve and succeed. To be considered, nominees must have a
   have a minimum 3.25 GPA with an outstanding academic record; have demonstrated leadership and
   community service activities; and plan to be enrolled as a full time degree seeking college freshman in the fall.
   Must be an enrolled member of a federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group OR
   provide documentation of ancestry to possession of one-fourth degree Indian blood of a federally recognized
   tribe.

o Utah Opportunity Scholarship
The University of Utah recognizes that a racially/ethnically diverse student body benefits and enriches the
educational experiences of all students, faculty, and staff. Thus, we strive to recruit students who will
further enrich this diversity, and make every attempt to support their academic and personal success
while they are here. In support of this goal, the Utah Opportunity Scholarship (UOS) will be offered to
entering freshmen that reside in the Greater Salt Lake City area. Eligible applicants are first-generation
college students and/or those with demonstrated financial need. Whenever possible, scholars will be
selected from applicants whose ethnic background is under-represented in higher education in Utah.
Other attributes we seek are students that have community service or community leadership. Selected
applicants must also be accepted to the University of Utah.

o University of Utah College of Social Work BSW Scholarship
These scholarships were established in 1970 to support students of Alaska Native and American
Indian ethnicity. These social work scholarships are made possible through a number of funding
sources, including the University of Utah President’s Office; Indian Nations and Tribal Councils;
practicum agencies; the Indian Health Service; Bureau of Indian Affairs; and the Children’s Bureau
