High resolution PDF specifications
The following settings will ensure a print quality, high resolution PDF is created:
Creating files Supply a PDF using Acrobat Distiller v5 or greater, saving as an unflattened
v1.4 PDF or above.
Ensure that your settings retain transparencies.
Please turn off crop marks and colour bars, and set bleed to zero
Images All images are to be saved as greyscale or CMYK.
Resolution needs to be 300 dpi at 100% scale for best results.
Colours Colour images must be in CMYK format. (No RGB or spot colours.)
Fonts Fonts must either be opentype or postscript type one.
If truetype fonts are used, they MUST BE converted to outline, before PDFing.
All fonts are to be embedded, including fonts in EPS files.

Please note
Every supplied file that comes in will be flight checked, but there is no guarantee all
technical errors will be picked up. Files that are found to be incorrectly supplied will be
referred back wherever possible, and the client will be given the opportunity to correct.
