2021-2022 AWARD PAYOUT CATEGORIES

The following AWARD PAYOUT CATEGORIES are included as part of your
membership dues and results are tracked through Golf Genius for the
entire season. All members are automatically eligible to win regardless of
the number of times played during the season.

—Weekly Purse - Refer to the Schedule of Events for all planned weekly
play day events (games). All 18 holes are played each round; however,
depending on the game of the week, there may only be a subset of the
played holes that count.

There are three flights (A, B, C). Flights will be refilled each round, as
necessary, based on player participation for that round. Players will
typically fluctuate between flights based on this methodology.

Players should normally play out and record their score for each hole. Golf
Genius will do all the calculations necessary to determine the game results.

Players may, however, pick up on any hole that is not part of the game,
taking her maximum allowable score (Par + 2 + strokes) and marking an
“X” on the scorecard. If the hole is part of the game and the player has an
“X” on a hole that counts, she will be deemed withdrawn from the game
and, therefore, ineligible for the weekly prize.

Scores for any withdrawn player WILL NOT be entered in Golf Genius and
WILL NOT be posted to GHIN. The player is responsible for posting her
score.

Each weekly game will have a first and second place winner in each flight.
Each first-place winner will receive two points and each second-place
winner will receive one point. The total budget for the weekly purse will be
divided by the total possible weekly points to determine how much each
point is worth. Each player will be paid out the point dollar value times the
number of points earned for the season.

—Ringers - The Ringers tournament is a type of multi-round tournament
where the Golf Genius software tracks each player's best gross score on
each hole for each round played in the season. The player in Flight A, B,
and C, with the lowest 18-hole score at the end of the season, will share
the total Ringers payout ($5 x total number of members). If there is a tie in
any of the flights, the payout will be split accordingly.

—Hole-in-One - Any player who makes a hole-in-one will be awarded the
payout ($5 x total number of members). If there are multiple hole-in-one
winners, the payout will be split accordingly. If there are no winners in the
current season, the money will be available to the general fund for next
year.

—Net Skins – Each player accumulates points over the course of each
round. Each hole is worth one point which can be won by one player who
has a better net score (Par or Better) than all the other players. If there is a
tie, no point is awarded for that hole. The Golf Genius software will track
points earned by each player for the season. The total payout ($5 x total
number of members) for the Net Skins purse will be divided by the total
number of points to determine how much each point is worth. Each player
will be paid out the point dollar value times the number of points they
earned for the season.

—Gross Skins - Each player accumulates points over the course of each
round. Each hole is worth one point which can be won by one player who
has a better gross score (Par or Better) than all the other players. If there
is a tie, no point is awarded for that hole. The Golf Genius software will
track points earned by each player for the season. The total payout ($5 x
total number of members) for the Gross Skins purse will be divided by the
total number of points to determine how much each point is worth. Each
player will be paid out the point dollar value times the number of points they
earned for the season.

—Breaking Awards - Each player that breaks her personal best score, in
five-point increments, will be awarded $5. For example, if a player's best
score last year was 95, that player would need to break 90 to be awarded
$5. If you are a new player to DLWGA, your best score will be treated as
the first breaking score.

—Participation – Players will earn one point for each round played. Each
player will be paid out the point dollar value times the number of points
earned for the season.
—DLWGA Ace – One low net winner of the field will result over four
months (one round each month from December to March). On the fifth
month (April), the four monthly Aces will play off for the overall low net
DLWGA Ace. The overall Ace winner will be awarded an entry on the
perpetual plaque.

—NEW THIS YEAR – Team State Medallion Tournament – This Low
Gross and Low Net competition is open to all DLWGA members. Members
are required to play in at least two of the four designated rounds to be
eligible. For this year, two rounds from our Club Championship, held on
March 15th and 22nd 2021, have been used as qualifier rounds. The final
two qualifier rounds will be held on November 1st and November 15th 2021.

The two players who end up with the two best gross and the two best net,
18-hole rounds, out of the four designated rounds will be awarded a
beautiful State Medallion. Those two players will also have the opportunity
to represent DLWGA as a team at the State Medallion Tournament which
will be held at the OakWood Country Club in Sun Lakes, Arizona, on
January 15/16, 2022. All tournament and travel costs will be the
responsibility of the players representing DLWGA.

—NEW THIS YEAR – Southern District Tournaments – DLWGA is now
a member club of the Southern District Women’s Golf Association
(SDWGA), and any DLWGA member may join the Southern District WGA
by paying the $10 membership dues. The Southern District season runs
from January - December, so our club will start participating in January,
2022.

Two tournaments (Telegraph and La Conquistadora del Sud (The “del
Sud”)) will be held at our home course on our regular league day in
conjunction with the game of the week. The Telegraph is a one-day net
tournament to be held on TBD. The La Conquistadora del Sud (The “del
Sud”) is a two-round eclectic tournament (net ringer format) to be held on
January 17 and 24, 2022. There will be a small payout for the winners of
these tournaments.

Three other tournaments are played at the district level at sites around
Tucson, Green Valley, and further south. There will be a sign-up fee
which includes golf, lunch, and prizes. The tournaments are two-person
team events with Gross and Net winners paid on both an overall basis
and in flights. The Winter Scotch is at Mountain View on February 21,
2022, the Spring Partners at Sewailo on May 9 and 10, 2022 (2-day
event), and the Fall Partners is at Arizona National on November 14
and 15, 2022 (2-day event).

The following award payout categories are also included as part of your
membership dues but have eligibility requirements. Note: Any members
who choose to play in the City Women's Golf Association (CWGA), Kachina
Dolls, Southern District, or any other sanctioned event on league day will
receive credit towards the current season scorecard requirement.

player for the year will be awarded the payout.

—Club Championship - 8 Current Season Scorecards – The players with
the best overall low gross and low net over two rounds will be awarded the
payout.

Additionally, players are only eligible to win one of the following categories
per season. If one player is a winner of more than one category, that
player will be awarded the payout of the highest valued category and any
other categories won by that player will be awarded to the runner up
player(s) in that category.

fund for the current year.
