Perforated vs. Solid
Perforated silverware cylinders are used for washing and
dispensing silverware. The holes are designed to allow
wash spray to directly hit and clean the silverware and for
water to drain freely. In addition to dispensing silverware
and plasticware, perforated cylinders can also be used to
dispense larger items that will not fall through the holes.
Solid containers are used in place of perforated cylinders to
dispense items like stir sticks, sweetener and condiment
packs, creamer cups and other small items.
Perforated cylinders and solid containers are
interchangeable in Steril-Sil dispensers and can be used
together to dispense a wide variety of items.

Dispense Silverware Vertically
Silverware should always be dispensed vertically with the
handle-end up.
One of the most common mistakes made by operators is
dispensing silverware horizontally. Horizontal dispensing
exposes the eating-end of the silverware. As customers
grab for their silverware, they can easily touch the eating-
ends of silverware they are not taking. This causes
contamination.
Silverware should always be dispensed vertically with the
handle-end up and with the use of a silverware cylinder.
This is the sanitary way to dispense silverware and
prevents contamination .

product does not solve your problem, we can design the
best solution for your situation.
Custom orders require a purchase order prior to drawings,
a 50% deposit and signed and approved drawings to LID 305 – Countertop or Wall-

returnable.

Carts for Silverware and Plasticware
Dispensing silverware handle-end-up is extremely important
to prevent contamination of the eating-end of the silverware.
Plasticware when loose must also be dispensed handle-end-up
using silverware cylinders. But when plasticware is wrapped in
a plastic bag, it can be dispensed horizontally. Use third-size
or full-size hotel pans in our CRT or ENC carts to dispense
wrapped plasticware.

Purchase Information: The Steril-Sil Company sells exclusively through foodservice equipment dealerships, products
are not sold direct to a foodservice operator. For purchase information, contact your local foodservice equipment
dealer or Steril-Sil sales team can direct you to a Steril-Sil dealer.
Prices: Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice and supersede previous price lists and
specifications.
Terms: 1% 10 days, Net 30 days. F.O.B. Bowmansville, PA 17507. Open account with approved credit.
Custom Orders: Custom orders require 50% down, 50% due within terms.
Ordering Data: Use model number and specification sheet descriptions to identify requirements.
Minimum Order Charge: Orders less than $20 net will be charged a $10 handling fee.
Broken Case Charge: Orders of quantities less than the case pack will be charged a $10 broken case fee.
Shipping/Freight: Unless carrier is specified, we will ship by the best and most economical means as identified by the
Steril-Sil Company. Liftgate service, re-delivery and appointment fees are additional charges not covered by the basic
shipping or freight cost. When incurred by the Steril-Sil Company, these costs will be added at the time of invoicing or
may be invoiced separately at a later date if charges occurred in a freight adjustment.
Return Policy: New and unused products may be returned for credit within 60 days less a 25% restocking fee. All
returned products must have prior approval and include the Return Authorization Number on the outside of all
packages. Call for a Return Authorization Number prior to making a return. Upon receipt of the returned products and
prior to issuing a credit less the 25% restocking fee, items will be inspected for new and undamaged
condition. Damaged items will be assessed the invoiced net purchase price of the product. The determination of the
condition of returned items will be made solely by the Steril-Sil Company. Return shipping damage is the responsibility
of the shipper. Products are best shipped in their original cartons and packaging materials. All shipping charges must
be pre-paid. Custom, discontinued and non-standard items may not be returned. The Return Policy is subject to
change. The current Steril-Sil Company return policy shall be posted on the company website, www.sterilsil.com.
Product Warranty: The Steril-Sil Company warrants the original purchaser of Steril-Sil Company products to be free of
defects in materials and workmanship for one-year from the original purchase date. Proof of purchase with the
purchase date is required for all warranty claims. Products covered under warranty shall be repaired to proper
working order or replaced. Exclusions to this warranty include but are not limited to damage caused by accident and
improper installation or abuse. The determination of abuse will be made solely by the Steril-Sil Company. The
maximum liability on any claim shall be no greater than the original product purchase price. All warranty claims must
be handled by a Steril-Sil Company authorized dealer. The Steril-Sil Company authorized dealer is to call for warranty
