Welcome to the team. Can you tell us a bit about yourself and why you love supporting our participants? Thank you I consider myself to be a quirky kind of person. I enjoy wearing bright colours and bold patterns. I am pretty good at bringing a smile to any participants face. For me that smile is absolutely priceless I can't get enough of it. Often participants can bring a smile to my face as well. Can you tell us a bit about your journey with Gateways & why you love being a part of the Gateways team? My journey with Gateways started back in January 2018 as a volunteer with the recreation program. From there I have had the opportunity to learn from so many incredibly talented and kind hearted individuals. This has remained consistent throughout my years working for Gateways. In my 3 years with Gateways I have had the pleasure of being involved with The Recreation and Individual Support Team, School Holiday Program, Social Connect, Boost 4 Kids, Shared Accommodation and Flexible Living Options. I love being a part of Gateways person centered approach towards every person associated within this great organization. What are some of your favorite activities and interests? I'm a pretty active person who enjoys the great outdoors. I enjoy photographing a special moment or place, playing basketball, Kayaking all around Greater Geelong and meeting people from all different walks of life. What are you most looking forward to? Being a part of Gateways recreation team brings many things to be excited about. I am mostly excited about supporting and encouraging our participants to try new things and to reach new levels of ability and confidence within themselves.
