Hobnail have been playing for everyone for a number of years and are one of the favourite bands.
Great songs done by a great band. Wayne Mason is something of a Kiwi icon, having won the 'song of the
millennium' with his song 'Nature', first recorded in the '60s with The Fourmyula, and also covered by the
Muttonbirds in the '90s. A founder member of the legendary Warratahs, Wayne has also recorded several

Urban Rogaine - Run Riot
Massey Child Care Centre, Bourke Road, Massey University Campus, Palmerston North
Rogaine is an event that involves navigation, strategy and teamwork and caters for a wide range of
competitors, from family groups to elite athletes who choose their own challenge to match their abilities
and experience. Teams of two or three people are given maps of the area marked with checkpoints. Each
checkpoint is ascribed a value and has a question or clue to solve. Contestants select which ones they go
to and visit as many checkpoints as they can within the time period. After an enjoyable walk (or run) around
the campus, everyone converges back at the starting point to see how they got on and maybe collect a spot

Toi Warbrick invites you to a noho marae where you will be welcomed by Rangitāne, be inspired by local
history, learn about ngā taonga pūoru (Māori musical instruments) and hear Antipodeans – a work for voice

AFC Motorcycles North Island Sidecar Champs

There will be plenty of action from the Sidecars when they compete for the AFC Motorcycles North Island
Sidecar Championship. These riders and swingers are crazy as they race at high speeds in a class where
brakes are illegal, and racing is rubbing! The Manawatu Youth MiniStock Champs will be hotly contested by
skilled drivers aged from 12 to 16 years in a class that is non-contact, but accidents do happen! Gates open
at 5.30pm so you can check out the race cars and their drivers before the action gets underway! Door sales
