KBTC St Louis • USKBTC Traveling Specialty U
SKBTC Concurrent Specialty • KBTC St. Louis
St. Louis will have their Specialties on Friday, Sunday Morning. USKBTC will have its Specialties
on Saturday morning and afternoon.
Friday evening: Challenge of Champions and Buffet Dinner.
The Challenge of Champions is a Kerry Blue Terrier showcase open to all AKC recognized
champion dogs. The event offers all who attend a chance to view the top dogs in the breed. Using
a scale of points, and a three judge system, each dog is evaluated according to how closely it
conforms to the breed standard. Only the Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex will be awarded
by the judges. In addition, the audience will be allowed to vote for the “People’s Choice” award.
AGILITY ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 4TH
May 6th through 8th
Hospitality: Friday buffet, Saturday box lunch (optional) and evening social.
There will be a reception following the USKBTC Specialty on Saturday afternoon.

This year all judging of Kerry Blue Terriers will be outside.
This decision was made to afford the best exhibitor experience possible.
The ring will be moved under a tent in the event of inclement weather. Grooming will be available
under the Show Tent and will conform to the Purina Farms Covid guidelines if necessary.
Please understand that exact schedule of events will not be known until entries close
(e.g. an event shown currently in the morning may be moved to the afternoon.)
What we can guarantee is the best Kerry weekend ever.

The United States Kerry Blue Terrier Club is offering a Challenge of Champions
to showcase the excellence in Kerry Blue Terriers. This event is part of the USKBTC
KerryFest and serves many purposes. It educates judges, exhibitors, breeders and
fanciers. The event offers all who attend a chance to view the top dogs in
competitive standing.
The Challenge of Champions evening is held in conjunction with KerryFest at
Purina Farms. It is open to any Kerry Blue Terrier champion of record. The event
features a buffet dinner, a cash bar, and the actual event. Attendance is free but
both the cost of the dinner and the cash bar are borne by the attendees.
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE CHALLENGE

Any Champion Kerry Blue Terrier from a registry • Best of Breed
recognized by the American Kennel Club is • Best of Opposite
eligible to enter the Challenge of Champions. • People’s Choice - by ballot from the audience

CHALLENGE Each participant in the Challenge of Champions,
OF CHAMPIONS JUDGES who has paid the required entry fee, will receive a

judging of the event. Each judge will represent a entrant, a brief story, owner(s), breeder(s),
different category as follows: handler, and the dog’s bio furnished by the owner.

pedigree, including the dog’s date of birth.

We are working closely with the management to accomodate all Kerry Blue Terrier reservations.
Please look for the RV reservation form in the Premium list from Onofrio Dog Shows.

Reservations for the entire cluster will get PRIORITY!
