Note COVID-19
Dear athletes, we estimate that everyone is doing well in the
current health situation that the world is going through. For
compelling reasons the organization of this event postponed the
event to the year 2021 maintaining the same schedule that would
be held in 2020.
In this moment of uncertainty for decisions and schedules
we reinforce to the athletes already registered that any amount
already paid not only guarantees the registration in the event in
2021 as, if requested, the return to the payer without any
discount until the end of the first registration period, already in
2021.
We are doing everything in our power and we have not
changed any registration fees for 2021. We hope to help all
athletes.
Still about the health situation, we would like to inform you
that starting in January 2021, we will be updating monthly
information on all the events related to this matter that may,
ultimately, interfere with the competitions in June.
Certain of everyone's understanding and envisioning a
normality in our lives as soon as possible, we wish health, peace
and tranquility to the entire Orienteering community!

Campo das Vertentes region.
Step by step we gain this
opportunity to share with all
the pleasure of orienteering in
our lands.
The idea of providing this great
challenge that is a 5-day 6-course
race has always been in our
plans, but for a later date in our
project. The confidence placed by
FMO and CBO in inserting in
our event the Southeast
Orientation Trophy(TSEO) 2020
has only anticipated and made
us start work since the day we
learned of this possibility. It was
realized and now it is reality.
We all wait with open arms and
many maps to be enjoyed!

It is a great pleasure that FMO and COSELE invite athletes
from all over Brazil to participate in the XII Southeast
Orienteering Trophy (TSEO), held in the historic city of São João
del Rei, Minas Gerais. I want to thank in advance the presence of
all athletes, who come from every region of our country. Mainly
to athletes from Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. We
will do everything to make it a great event and make you feel at
home. Welcome to Minas Gerais, welcome to the historic city of
São João del Rei.

Gerais and the Serra do Lenheiro Orienteering Club - COSELE
together with the Elite Orienteering Club - EITE CO has the honor
to invite to participate in the XII Southeast Orienteering Trophy,
which will take place in the historical city of São João Del Rey -
MG from June 11 to 14, 2020, in parallel with the 5 Days
Orienteering of Campo das Vertentes.
The organization of the event is working so that we have an

Vertentes 20215 – Location and acccess
The city of São João Del Rei and its neighbor, Santa Cruz de Minas, are two cozy
cities located in the mining region of Campo das Vertentes, specifically in the micro
region of São João del Rei. They are easily accessible by road. Capital city Belo
Horizonte is 185 km away with main access via BR 040 and BR 383. The two other
largest capital cities are Rio de Janeiro, which is 335km away and with better access
by BR 040 and BR 265, and São Paulo, which It is 475km and with better access by BR
381 and BR 265.

7 - Accommodation
The main city with great hosting support is the city of São João Del Rei. Digital
media offers all types of accommodation in the region.
The organization will make available cantonment in the facilities of the city hall
of Santa Cruz de Minas. Further details will be disclosed in Bulletin II. An amount
should be paid for site maintenance during the athletes' stay.
8 – Food
In the arenas will be found quick snacks for the convenience of athletes where
you can buy soft drinks, juices and snacks. In course 6, to be held at Recanto dos
Amigos, it is possible to have meals on that place, the infrastructure is great and
holds up to 300 people.

is embargoed as of the date of this bulletin.

11.1 National Registrations - As registrations for TSEO Medium and Long, and TSEO
SPRINT will be selected exclusively, respecting the deadlines, through the CBO System

11.2 IOF Entries - ATTENTION OF CATEGORIES H21E / D21E (WRE): In addition to
enrolling in the CBO System, you must register for an IOF system

12 – Trainings possibilities
During the month prior to the 5 Days Orienteering of Campo das Vertentes the organizers
will provide training on various maps in the area. Some available maps will be listed at bulletin II and
must be requested via Email ronaldocastelo@yahoo.com.br.
The courses are pre-planned, one short and one long, on each map. Control points will be
marked on the ground with a wooden stake and the top painted orange. Training with official flags
and Sport Ident is possible through prior contact and scheduling in the Email informed earlier in this
topic.

Vertentes 202113 – Test events
During the first half of 2020, the organizers of the 5 Days will be present at the organization
of the Circuito de Orientação do Campo das Vertentes(Local events), which will be preparatory tests
for the work team. All athletes already registered and confirmed in the 5 Orientation Days will have
a 20% discount on the full amount on COCamVer 2020 registrations.
14 – Rules
According to TSEO 2020 regulation that will be published in Bulletin II.
14.1 – Classes
All provided for in RGOP 2020.
15 – Time keeping system
The electronic system to be used will be Sport Ident. The athlete who has his own chip must
inform in the registration. In the loss of the rented SI Card the athlete shall indemnify the organizer
of R$ 205.00.
