                                       Individual Fundraiser Guide

Thank you for inquiring about our individual fundraiser option! For your convenience, we’ve included a
step-by-step guide for developing your program below. This is a basic walkthrough of the program, so
please feel free to contact us with any questions at jparker@adidassoccertravel.com

    1. Your first step for developing a fundraiser is to develop a letter introducing your player and your
project to those visiting the site. This letter will communicate to your audience the purpose of this
         fundraiser primarily.
             a. The secondary purpose of this letter is to “market to your audience.” This will vary by
                   participant.
                          i. Will you be marketing primarily to family members? Touchstones of your
player’s maturation, updates on how his life is progressing, and various other
details will be important in establishing a connection early on.
ii. Are you marketing to family friends and coworkers? General details about your
player’s interest and dedication to soccer, their commitment to raising money for
the program, and dedication to their particular goal (college scholarship?
professional career?) will be a quality way of engaging your audience.
iii. Are you marketing to the families of other soccer players? Focus on soccer
details, accomplishments, and the addition of a “Store Item” (described further
down) in which you offer to train a donor’s child are an effective approach to
                             developing your letter.
             b. I’ll refer you to our first fundraiser (which was very successful) of Abuchi Obinwa.
Abuchi primarily approached family and teammates via social media and email. Note his
letter draws on both his commitment, his desires, and the success he’s experienced
                   already: http://isupportsports.com/projects/help-abuchi-obinwa-live-his-dream1/396

    2. The next step for developing your page is to accumulate photos. A mix of soccer photos and
family photos will balance nicely (the importance of the type and quantity photos likely depends
on your audience as referenced above.)
             a. If you’re especially ambitious, you may want to include a welcome video of your player
thanking everyone for donating and taking interest in their aspirations.

                                        Operated by soccer
3. Once you've accumulated this media, you can forward it on to myself
(jparker@adidassoccertravel.com) as well as the isupportsports.com manager Derek de Santiago
(derek@isupportsports.com). I'll proofread the note for you and give you any recommendations I
have on my end. Please feel free to consult me throughout this process.

    4. Important Step: Once the material is set up for your program, Derek will load all of this info into
a personalized page and link your account to a Paypal account.
             a. If you do not already have a Paypal account, please proceed to create one. A paypal
account is necessary in order to receive the funds donated.
             b. Your Paypal account must be a Paypal Premier account. Paypal Premier accounts are
free and enable your account to receive funds from credit card transactions. Failing to
upgrade your account to Paypal Premier will impede the creation of your site.
                        i. Please note that Paypal will deduct the credit card fees from each transaction
(this ranges from 2.25% – 3.5% depending on the card type).
ii. isupportsports.com will also deduct 3% for the operations and hosting.
iii. adidas ITP and eSoccer offers the free raffle opportunity (see below) and its
                           assistance without charge.
             c. Once you’ve created your Paypal Premier account, you need to provide both the email
and name associated with your account.

    5. The final step in developing your page is stocking your “store.” There are various items you may
want to include in this store, depending on your audience. We’ve seen success with high quality
players offering training sessions to donors, we’ve had participants offer to mow lawns, send
postcards from their destinations, film personal thank you videos, or even fashion home made
jewelry. Any offerings you may propose here are only limited by your creativity.
             a. Once you’ve decided on “store” perks these details can be forwarded to Derek de
                  Santiago.

    6. Automatically included in your “store” as a free offer by adidas ITP and eSoccer is our annual
raffle (full description at the end of this document). We can add various increments of raffle
purchases ($20 dollars for one, $100 for 5, $240 for 12, etc.) so donors may donate in incremental
sums and receive multiple raffle tickets.

    7. Once the site is established, it is essential that the website creator consistently promotes it. Social
media updates, emails to the player’s friends and family, discussion with coworkers and similar
efforts must be continuous to avoid stagnation. Every successful fundraiser has had exactly one
commonality; the marketing of the site extended well beyond just the day of creation. Thank you
emails to those who donate are a very nice gesture as well, as are updates to the site as you reach
certain benchmarks of donations (this can be simply done with the help of Derek de Santiago).
              a. If you have any questions about the website or campaign after its creation, you can
                  contact support@isupportsports.com

    8. Finally, it is essential to remember and to remind others that every donation counts! The limit of
your donor base is of your own making. 5-20$ donations will quickly accumulate!
             a. Note that your web site will be a private link, and will only be accessible to those for
whom you’ve provided the URL. This will provide greater privacy for the information
                   you’ve posted.

If you get started on the letter, I can answer any questions that arise. As soon as the letter is finalized and
you’ve accumulated any photos or video you’d like for the site, we can go live within 1-2 business days.

Team Fundraiser Guide - Addendum

Thank you for inquiring about our team fundraiser option! Our options for the Team Fundraiser are
essentially the same as those for the individual program. However, we’ve included some extra tips below to
expound upon the step-by-step guide above:
 http://isupportsports.com/projects/help-abuchi-obinwa-live-his-dream1/396

    9. For a team fundraiser, we're going to be looking at two differences:
             a. We’re going to primarily market the raffle as a means to raise money
             b. We’re going to have a much broader message to a much greater variety of donors.

    10. The core of the raffle is to offer possible donors a reward for the donation. As such, it is essential
        to remember these key things:
             a. The main opportunity here is to help support some motivated young student athletes
experience an incredible opportunity few ever experience. The opportunity offered in
return is one to win the raffle and a fantastic program or gift as well.
             b. The raffle is at no cost to the team itself, so all profit from the program will be going
                towards the trip itself.

    11. The raffle can be included in multiple increments within the store. We can sell individual tickets
for $20, five for $100, etc. This will simplify the process if you are expecting larger donors.

    12. Marketing this program will largely be up to individuals’ efforts, and encouragement should be
offered as thus. In order to strengthen their efforts, updates to the page including videos messages
or letters from the team can build a narrative and ensure participants feel included in the process of
fundraising, making it alone an enriching experience.

    13. Once we have this information, I will put you in touch with Derek de Santiago, who runs
isupportsports.com. He will load all of this info into your page and link your account to a paypal
account. If you do not have a paypal account already established, please proceed to do so.

Regards,
John Parker
