NEET-UG 2019
ADMISSION PROCESS
This Notice is being issued in regard to the process of selection and admissions
to be granted to the 1st year of undergraduate Health Science Courses for the
Academic Year 2019-2020, in pursuant to the Common Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2019)
conducted by Govt. of India on 05.05.2019. The procedure set out hereunder will apply
to selection of Candidates to be admitted at the following Institutions: -
(A) All State Government Colleges;
(B) All Municipal Corporation Colleges;
(C) All State Government aided Colleges;
(D) As per Maharashtra Unaided Private (including Minority) Institution Professional
Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, all Health
Sciences courses i.e. MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, BSc. Nursing,
Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, BP&O and BASLP, at all Unaided Private
Professional Institutions in the State of Maharashtra.
The “Information Brochure” is available on website of www.mahacet.org. This
Information Brochure contains the information required by Candidates during Document
Verification Process and for the purpose of seeking admission. It includes General
Instructions to the Candidates for filing online preference form, method of scrutiny of
documents and method of selection and admission. The Candidate should attend the
Document Verification Process as per the schedule set out hereunder at the respective
allotted Center.
Candidates should download the Information Brochure from website
www.mahacet.org. Copy of Information Brochure will not be provided to Candidate at
the time of Document Verification Process.
Candidates should carefully go through the entire Information Brochure and
follow the Instructions for further process of selection and admission. Kindly note that
non-compliance with any of the provisions set out in the Information Brochure will result
in rejection of claim for admission.As per the letter from VJ NT, SBC and OBC Welfare Department, Government of
Maharashtra and Medical Education & Drugs Department, Government of Maharashtra,
following changes will be implemented during admission process.
I. The document verification process will start from 29/06/2019 instead of
28/06/2019.
II. Caste Validity Certificate for SEBC category students should not be
insisted till further instructions/order.
III. Caste Validity Certificate for categories other than SEBC, should be
submitted till the last date of joining of 1st round of admission for
MBBS/BDS Courses, Regarding Caste Validity Certificate for other
courses, it will be notified separately.
On the scheduled date and at the scheduled session, the Candidate in
accordance with their NEET All India Rank as mentioned in the mark sheet of
NEET-UG 2019, is required to attend the document verification in person, at the
respective allotted Center given below. The center allotted here in is as per the
district of passing standard 12th examination as marked in the application form by
the candidate. Candidates passing Std 12th Examination from outside
Maharashtra State will be allotted center as per their residential address, and
those residing out of Maharashtra State will be allotted centre No. 1 from below
table. The Center allotted for Document Verification will be given in the ‘List of
registered candidates as per NEET UG - 2019 Merit list’, for each candidate
individually.
For this document verification process, candidates eligible for MBBS/BDS/
BAMS/BHMS & BUMS have been called.

The Candidate must report to the respective Center personally (proxy will not be
permitted), at the specified time and date set out in above Table, along-with all the
relevant original documents and One set of photocopy as mentioned in the
Information Brochure NEET-UG 2019. It is made hereby clear that claim will not be
granted, if the relevant documents are not produced by the Candidate at the time of
Document Verification Process. All eligible candidates desirous for MBBS/BDS/BAMS/
BHMS/BUMS admission should complete their Document Verification by 4th of July
2019, so as to be eligible for admission to these courses. Only one Parent/Guardian will
be allowed along with the Candidate.
The Candidates are instructed to keep regular track of Notice(s) that may be
issued from time to time by the undersigned in this regard, which will be made available
on the website www.mahacet.org.
Note I : During this Document Verification Process request for conversion from
Open to Reserve Category, new claim of Specified Reservation etc. will not
be considered. Candidates can upload their document(s) up to the last day
of document verification, if not already uploaded.
Note II : Seat Matrix for MBBS/BDS Courses will be made available on the website on
30/06/2019.
Note III : Candidate can fill the online Preference Form on his/her log-in, available on
the website. The portal for each Candidate will open from 30/06/2019 for
MBBS/BDS Courses. It will be closed on 05/07/2019 at 5:00 pm. The portal
for each candidate will be operative once his / her document verification is
successful and Document Verification code is generated on
acknowledgement. Portal will open on the same day of his / her verification
after 09:00 pm. Online preference filling process for course other than
MBBS/ BDS (BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BPTh/ BOTh/ BASLP/ BP & O) will
commence from 07.07.2019 to 11.07.2019. For BSc.Nursing Course
Separate Notice will be Issued in due Course.Note IV :The first selection list will be declared on 06/07/2019 after 8:00 pm. for
MBBS/BDS Courses. Candidate should report to the Respective Institution
upto 12/07/2019, 5:00 pm.
Note V : All the Candidates who have marked as NRI, should report for document
verification at 9th Floor, Admissions Regulating Authority, New Excelsior
Building, A.K. Nayak Marg, Fort, Mumbai - 400 001 as per the following
table.

Note VI : Candidates attending for document verification but not submitting online
preference form, will not be considered for admission to the respective
Health Sciences courses till the end of this admission process.
Note VII : Candidates who are called for Document Verification as per Table II & III
and do not attend Document Verification Process as per Schedule, will
not be considered for this Admission Process.
Note VIII : NRI candidate should attend Admission Regulating Authority, 9th Floor,
New Excelsior Building, A. K. Nayak Marg, Fort, Mumbai- 400 001 for
document verification with all relevant documents including NRI
documents.
Note IX: Schedule declared in the Notice-I Dated 21/06/2019 and information
Brochure will be followed for remaining admission process.
