Corporate Governance The RHS has a Royal Charter and is a Registered Charity. The governing body of the RHS is Council. This comprises the President, Treasurer and up to 15 ordinary members. Finance In 2019/20, the RHS generated a total income of £102.1m, compared to £97.7m in 2018/19, and net income of £10.4m. Following a pandemic-induced dip in 2020/21, revenues and net income have rebounded strongly in the current financial year. The Society’s financial position remains robust and, with the bulk of the investment in our 10 year, £160m Strategic Investment Programme now completed, the RHS is well placed to continue its strong upward growth track.
