1. Why does my company have to pay the nett course fee upfront to the training providers?
Answer: This is part of the condition to enable the employer to claim the Absentee Payroll
benefits from SSG which requires the employer to pay the nett course fee (after SSG
subsidy) to the training providers. The employers may then claim the nett course fee from
the asatizah’s training credits disbursed by Muis.

2. Some asatizah employed by my organisation had attended one of the courses on Muis’
priority list of competencies published earlier. Can my organisation claim the training
credit for that course now?
Answer: Yes. You can claim for the training credit if your training date falls on or after 1 Aug
2020. For details, please contact atc@mmwss.sg.

3. When will my company get reimbursement for the nett course fees made upfront to the
course providers?
Answer: Muis will reimburse the nett course fees to your organisation within 3 weeks from
the date of the date of the invoice receipt.

4. As an employer, can I register my employees for the training courses in the Priority
Training List as a group?
Answer: Yes, that is possible.

5. What happens if the ATC balance of an asatizah under my employment is insufficient to
cover the nett course fee?
Answer: The employer can choose to either sponsor or ask the asatizah to consider using
their SkillsFuture Credit to cover the outstanding amount instead of using the ATC.
Alternatively, the asatizah may want to pay the outstanding amount out of their own
pocket.

later claim the AP for them.

7. What if I want to register my employees for these courses but cannot find a suitable
