process during the approaches to structures, site assessments and improving critical

NEW SPECIALTY PROGRAMS FOR 2021

Close Quarter Pistol Training: 1 Day

This one day course works on using instinctive, natural body movements and
indexes at close distances on reactive targets providing officers more confidence in
engaging in use of deadly force situations when needed. Movement, use of cover,
multiple threats, reloading, immediate action drills are all interwoven and brings
the law enforcement officer to a whole new dimension of handgun training. The
officer’s self evaluation of “Do I have the skills to win a gunfight?” will surrender
to “my pistol skills make me confident that I will win an armed encounter.”
Additional areas covered in this program will include:

• Tactical techniques necessary for a patrol officer to win an armed encounter
• Use of cover techniques under stress conditions
• Reactive target and decision making (shoot-don’t shoot) situational targets
• Reduction of misses at close distances
• Understanding and learning to work through stress during a deadly force
    shooting encounter

The Emergency Response Belt® (ERB) Instructor Program: 1 Day

Due to the increase or violent and combative individuals who may be unarmed,
there is still a potential threat that exists for Law Enforcement Officers who need to
subsequently secure these types of subjects. The ERB system was designed to
assist Law Enforcement in both the street level and Department of Corrections
environments. Since its release in October 1989 the Emergency Response Belt
(ERB) has been used use by virtually every profession that has to handle violent or
injured individuals. The ERB has proven its use and effectiveness within these
areas faster than any device in history. The instructor program provides trainers the
ability to teach safety and control techniques using this important tool while
maintaining safety for all officers and the subject themselves.
