TOP REASONS TO TRY BEACHBODY FITNESS PROGRAMS #1 Reason - Beachbody creates affordable programs with more variety than I am able to produce I've been doing home workouts since my late teens. My first program was The Firm. I've done Windsor Pilates and tried several other home fitness programs before finding success (in my case - consistency which led to seeing results) with Beachbody workouts. Many Options for Different Needs From prenatal (modifications may be needed) to postpartum to beginner to advanced. For those that like to dance, practice yoga, want to reshape their bodies, improve endurance, get ripped, or prepare for a fight. There are options for those of us that are uncoordinated, get bored easily, or need something to keep us active in the winter. For low-energy or high-energy days. Well Designed Programs The workouts created in the last 5-7 years are well designed in terms of preparing the body and mind for exercising, instructions on how to perform exercise, recovery time between exercises, and program goal (building muscle, improving endurance, improving range of motion, improving coordination, etc.) Convenient (if you have good internet connection) When I'm pressed for time, I can easily fit in a 10-15-20 minute workout. I do not have to fight with children to get ready and out the door, I do not have to get interrupted by bros/creeps at the gym (my kids do interrupt me), I do not have to wait for equipment, the commute is quick and stress-free ... Affordable You have options to pay monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annually. This is great if you need a home workout option for times when you cannot make it to the gym or fitness class. Enjoyable I find some trainers are entertaining and funny or share nuggets of wisdom or say things that help improve my positive self-talk. The order of exercises flow well. Note: there are some trainers and programs that I do not enjoy. Drawbacks to Beachbody Lack of support from trained professionals - Not all Beachbody Coaches receive training on How to Coach people -- many receive training on how to sell to people. The methods SOME coaches use are toxic, unhelpful, and not always evidence-based. Coaches receive a small commission on your purchases and subscriptions. The marketing of other products and supplements -- learn to ignore, mute, or fast forward through advertisements. Supplements are not always necessary. It is perfectly fine to ONLY focus on working out or discovering what types of workouts you enjoy. I have to admit I was very disappointed when Beachbody discontinued making DVDs and began only streaming new programs. The internet not working and being unable to workout has happened a few times over the last 5 years. There is not a lot of guidance on how to modify or ease into a program for those that have not exercised before, have pelvic floor dysfunction (peeing/leaking during exercises or coughing/sneezing), are 6-12 weeks postpartum, are returning from injury, are experiencing high levels of stress, experiencing mental health challenges, etc. THE PART WHERE I MARKET MY SERVICES I hope you found this guide useful.
