SO WHAT IS A SUPERMOON - WHY IS EVERYBODY TALKING
ABOUT IT?
The January 31st Supermoon will also be the second full Moon of the month, which
is known as a Blue Moon. A Blue Moons happens every two and a half years, on
average. This total lunar eclipse is also referred to as a Blood Moon because the
moon often takes on a reddish color. The lunar eclipse on January 31 will be
visible in from the Western North America along the East Coast across the Pacific
Ocean, and as far as eastern Siberia and Asia. Most of North America will see a
portion of the eclipse before the moon sets Eastern Asia. The first Supermoon
occurred on Jan 2nd called the Wolf Moon, and a rare “blue” supermoon this year
bringing in severe blizzard conditions along the East Coast and will continue on all

month. Some are calling it the beginning of a mini-ice age. Hence the January 31,
2018 moon can also be called a royal (Leo) ‘blue blood’ total eclipse spectacle
indeed. A full moon at perigee is visually larger up to 14% in diameter and shines
30% brighter than one at its farthest point, or apogee. Strictly speaking, a
Supermoon, is declared when the moon is within 90% of its closest approach to
Earth in a given orbit. This occurs when a full moon coincides with the perigee of
the moon’s orbital cycle. A perigee is the point at which the moon moves closest
to Earth during orbit. Because the orbit is not a perfect circle, this means the moon
typically sits anywhere between 252,000 and 226,000 miles from Earth. That is a
difference of 26,000 miles—longer than the entire
circumference of the Earth. Your mileage will vary —
since weather conditions have a greater effect on the
moon’s brightness (cold temperatures?) than distance
and the small variations in size are difficult to discern
by the human eye for moons that are observed months
apart. It is important to honor this energy however, for
it seems that this Full Moon may be helping to bring
things to the surface. If there are things that you need
to hear or even secrets that need to be revealed this
Full Moon is definitely going to be shining a light so
you can see the truth.
This supermoon will traverse high in the sky in the Northern latitudes, because it is
winter time. On Jan 23, 2018 we just witnessed an 8.2 Mega Earthquake in
Anchorage, Alaska off Kodiak with a later withdrawal of the Tsunami warning.
Ellipses as powerful as this are harbingers of severe weather changes. The red
planet Mars , triggers aggressive action, is in opposition at the time of this event.
The coming weeks are set to dazzle stargazers with some spectacular celestial
events.

Cumulative human overburden from decades of consuming everything and living
far beyond Earth’s natural support ability is at the root of the problem. As a result

August 21, occurs on February 15, 2018 and is a partial eclipse visible in
Antarctica and South America. January is a big month in astrology/astronomy as
there are a lot of changes and shifts that are going to shower us with a new energy
and a new outlook for the year ahead.
The first total lunar eclipse of 2018 will happen on the morning of Jan. 31st in the
sign of Leo (Royalty). This eclipse will be special! The moon will be both "super"
and "blue," in North America. Unlike last summer's Great American Total Solar
Eclipse, lunar eclipses are completely safe to look at because the sun is below the
horizon. Any sunlight that reaches the eclipsed moon has to pass over the Earth's
horizon, painting the moon with reddish light — hence the nickname "blood
moon" for eclipsed moons. And sometimes — once in a blue moon — the moon is
full twice in a month (or four times in a season, depending on which definition you

prefer). Blood Moons are rare and are even talked about in the bible. We’ve
witnessed the chaotic changes across the entire United States as the bringing up of
changes, personally, politically, financially and within. This eclipse is one of the

so be open and know that the truth can really set you free. The entire eclipse will
be visible from northwestern North America, and morning twilight arrives, while
Eastern Europe and Central Asia will see the eclipse already in progress when the
moon rises. During totality, when the moon is fully in shadow, the moon's northern
limb will pass just south of the center of the Earth's shadow, darkening the moon's
northern half more than its southern half.

The moon turns blood-red in this image of a total lunar
eclipse from 2004. A total eclipse of a "blue moon" will
occur on Jan. 31, 2018. What happened to you in 2004?
Sometimes we get a blood red moon as the earth’s shadow
slowly creeps across its crater face. Depending on how
things have gone in the last 6 months, we can now see the
fruit blossom from the seeds we planted at the last solar eclipse. But if life has been
stressful for us, putting pressure on those embryonic seeds, then what should be a
birthing time can sadly turn into a miscarriage. Your personal lunar experience
depends on how the eclipse is configured to your chart and how you handle change
in general.
This is the first Blue Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in 150 years. The bright light of
the sun throws a spotlight on our subconscious to illuminate any issues within our
primary relationships that have been festering there since the previous Solar
Eclipse in August 2017. Lunar eclipses are extremely emotional times, therefore
we just really need to sit down quietly and listen to what comes up, for our feelings

Full Moon in Leo – Jan 31, 2018
Whatever the weather outside, this full "Snow" Moon is painted by the conflict
between the urge to just have fun and the perceived duty to do everything just so
and give everyone their due, whether they merit it or not. Social pressures arise
when individual constraints become just too much and people have to break out of
the mold, sometimes unexpectedly. If this were hurricane season, you'd have a
hurricane party, but if not so you'll have to think up another suitable excuse to let
off steam and let others do so, too. Kids can turn the simplest situations into a play-
party, and you reap your profits now when you do the equivalent.

Aquarius (January 20 to February 18) Full Moon in 07th House
This is a wonderful time to let your partner shine and just lay back and appreciate
it all. That can mean enjoying the fruits of your mutual labors wrought by the
relationship, or it can mean finally fully connecting with someone you've been
developing something special with for a while. In either case, the rewards of
connecting closely will take center stage, and you can lean on the familiarity you
already have to support what comes next. This can apply equally well in business
