Wensum Pools
refurbishment
A regular maintenance program helps to hold back the
ravages of time but when pools become dangerous or
ugly it is time to carry out a refurbishment.
Pools that have been refurbished properly are more enjoyable,
safer and cheaper to run. Wensum Pools have refurbished
hundreds of swimming pools so we know all the ways to bring a
pool back to life quickly and cost effectively. Leaky concrete pools
can be restored or liners fitted, worn liner pools can be refitted
with a superior replacement. Dangerous and ugly pool surrounds
can be regrouted and restored to their former glory.
Inefficient filtration and heating systems can be
upgraded and become easier and cheaper to run.
Pool usage can be increased by fitting enclosures
enabling all year use. Automatic dosing and pool

Endless Pools Hydrostride
Hydrostride
Adjusting from a 0.8 km/h water walk to a challenging
8 km/h water run, the Hydrostride lets pool owners enjoy the
benefits of low-impact aquatic exercise from the convenience
of home. Customers choose our underwater treadmill for
weight loss, cross-training, recovery, and rehabilitation.
Olympic triathletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee use an
Endless Pools Underwater Treadmill to increase their run
mileage and recover from injury.
Flexible installation
The Hydrostride is designed for installation in new pools
or during major renovations. It can be installed on any flat
surface where the pool floor and wall meet at, or close to,
a 90-degree angle. You can tailor the location based on the
customer’s height; we recommend positioning the treadmill
for approximately chest-deep water.

manufacturer’s, Roldeck and Coverstar.
Coverstar Automatic Safety Covers
Coverstar prevents the bad stuff like leaves, dirt and debris from
getting into the pool whilst keeping the good stuff - heat, water
and chemicals - from getting out. The Coverstar can help save
up to 70% on heating and chemical costs.
With less time to worry about maintenance, upkeep,
keeping the right chemical and heat levels and the
user will have more time to relax and enjoy
the pool.
Roldeck Automatic
Pool Covers
Roldeck automatic pool covers are available for
domestic and commercial pools, indoor or outdoor,
and is versatile in the applications it offers. The standard
white sections are popular for indoor pools. On outdoor
pools the solar slats, with black bases, promote high solar heat
transfer. A distinct advantage of Roldeck is that rain water will pass
through the cover, and will not collect on top requiring removal by pump.

A telescopic pool enclosure is the perfect answer to the changeable British climate as it allows an
outdoor pool to be converted to an enclosed pool in a matter of minutes. We are able to offer a huge
range of enclosures which are suitable for any pool size or shape and will fit into most environments,
because of the colour options and styles that are on offer. The range has low level type enclosures to
the full height fixed style with for everyone. Swimming pools in your garden offer a source of fun for the
whole family, and having an enclosure allows you and your family to enjoy the pool for most of the year,

13Heating
Heating a swimming pool means being able to use it for months of the
year and improves comfort simply by increasing the temperature of the
pool by a few degrees. There are various options and when choosing
the right system consideration is given to factors such as the type of
pool, the ambient temperature and level of humidity.
Our range of products include heat pumps, heat exchangers, gas & oil
heaters and dehumidification. Contact us to discuss your requirements in
more detail and to receive a no obligation quote.
Heat Pumps
Heat pumps use electricity to transfer heat to your swimming pool.
Air-source heat pumps transfer heat from the air, and water-source (geothermal) heat pumps
transfer heat from water. One of the main advantages of a heat pump over other methods is they
require no complicated supplies. They are fully automatic, easy to install and quiet in operation. They
are extremely efficient and can provide up to 5 units of energy to the pool for every 1 unit paid for.
Gas Heating
Gas heaters burn either natural gas or propane to create heat. Gas burns inside a combustion
chamber, which contains a series of copper coils. As the gas burns, water passes through the coils
and heats.
Oil Heating
Oil heaters are a common and effective method for swimming pool heating. They are available as
either a purpose built “direct” type, where swimming pool water passes directly through the boiler,
or an “indirect” type, where a conventional boiler is linked to an additional external heat exchanger.
Dehumidifiers
Maintaining the correct humidity of the air in the pool room is essential. There are many types of
dehumidifier and it is important to select one designed specifically to deal with the high moisture
loads found in a pool room.
14Chemicals & Dosing
It is crucial for water in your pool or hot tub to be properly treated in
order for it to remain clear and clean, free from harmful substances,
bacteria, viruses, algae and other pathogens and therefore ultimately
safe to be used.
At Wensum Pools, in addition to the wide range of chemicals that we
