knowledgeable team.
In addition, the Hylands Farmers’ & Crafts
Market will have many stalls for you to browse
or purchase handmade goods or tasty treats
from and our artists' studios will be open for
bespoke and unique creations!

this May as the National Flower Show returns for its fifth year, with
celebrity gardening expert Carol Klein attending! This year’s
exciting theme is ‘Around the World – A Floral Journey’ and the
event celebrates the very best of gardening, home and lifestyle.
Hylands House and its surrounding gardens will be filled with
inspiration, flowers and plants and everything you need for your

The All About Dogs Show is the UK’s FAVOURITE dog event for
dogs of all shapes and sizes – and it’s returning even bigger and

1 ASHAKESPEARE THEATRE –
MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (BL)
Start: 7.30pm – 9.45pm (Doors open 7pm)
Join us on the back lawn of Hylands House for Shakespeare’s
enchanted masterpiece A Midsummer Night’s Dream – a play of
unforgettable Shakespearean characters, high comedy and enough
magical moments to wave a wand at!
Be sure to catch The Lord Chamberlain’s Men (now in their 15th
year!) perform Shakespeare as it would have been; all male, in the
open and in full Elizabethan costume with traditional music and
dance. This is undoubtedly one of the hottest tickets of the
summer; book early to avoid missing out! Bring a blanket or chair
and make yourself comfortable in the beautiful surroundings.

THE STABLES
The Stables, at the heart of the Estate, offers a welcoming
café, information point, Hylands Artists’ Studios and a
second-hand book shop. It is the perfect place to enjoy with
friends and family.
HYLANDS ARTISTS’ STUDIOS
The Artists’ Studios are located in The Stables on the ground floor
and first floor. Visitors can meet our resident artists and view their
work as they create unique bespoke pieces in their studios. The
resident artists at Hylands Estate are a diverse collection of skilled
designers and makers who not only create their own original work for
purchase but also run demonstrations, workshops and exhibitions.

THE STABLES CAFÉ
The Stables Café is operated by Churchill Catering. It offers a
fantastic range of food for all the family and Lavazza coffee. The
café also has a special and unique area where dogs and their
owners are welcome and a wide range of food and home-made
cakes to take away.

INFORMATION POINT
The Information Point operates as the main visitor point for the
Estate where you can pick up the Hylands Walks and Events
leaflets, as well as book tickets for Tuesday Toddles and Scrapbook
Safari! Don’t forget to purchase your duck food before heading to
the Pleasure Gardens.

BOOK SHOP
The second-hand bookshop is
managed entirely by volunteers of
the Friends of Hylands House. The
Bookshop carries a good stock of
second-hand books covering many
subjects. The Friends rely on
donations of all types of books
which may be delivered and left at
the Bookshop.
