way. All participating teams and individuals will receive a
warm welcome as from a legal standpoint and also from
people and students in Maribor.
We believe the reasons why Slovenia should be chosen as
the organiser of this event are:
Event experience: Slovenia has the know-how in hosting
major tennis table (Slovenia is also a candidate for Euro-
pean Table Tennis Championship 2007) and other sports
events.
SUSA: Slovenian University Sports Association is a young
and a very active member of FISU, which seeks opportuni-
ties to show its skills in organisation of international univer-
sity sports competitions.
Sport and accommodation infrastructure: Maribor offers
recently built multisports University Sports Centre, situated

sport in Slovenia and we have many excellent table tennis
