Dear Rising Seniors,
Thank you for your interest in USRowing's 17th-Annual Summer National
Championships College Fair. This event is specifically designed to give rising high
school seniors the opportunity to meet and interact with collegiate coaches from across
the country and to expand their knowledge of different collegiate rowing programs. As in
2019, the College Fair will be two days, and it is open to any rising high school seniors
who are racing at the event. In order to attend the College Fair, your coach must
dismiss you once you have finished racing. Even if you are not competing in the 2021
Summer National Championships you may participate in the college fair if you are a
rising high school senior with a USRowing Basic Membership + Regatta Package or
USRowing Championship Membership.
You will need to pre-register using this Google Form:
https://forms.gle/f92Ch1eiCLRE8jgC9
WHERE: On regatta site: Cooper River Park. Camden County, NJ. Located in a large
tent next to vendor village and the registration tent.
WHEN: The College Fair will be two days long. Times are as follows: Thursday, July 15
at 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
ATTIRE: Race gear, casual clothing, anything comfortable!
WHAT TO BRING: Feel free to bring multiple clean, concise, and updated resumes
(example athlete resume located on page four of this packet) in a folder or small bag.
THINGS TO REMEMBER: You must be an incoming high school senior for the 2021-
2022 academic school year and if you are an athlete racing in the 2021 Summer
National Championships, you must abide by the NCAA rules. You cannot have contact
with any collegiate coaches before you are completely done racing for the day.
PARENTS: Please make your way to the USRowing Membership tent for refreshments
and snacks. The USRowing Membership tent will provide informational pamphlets and
answer any questions you may have regarding rowing in college. We ask that you do
not attend the College Fair with your athlete in an attempt to save room and allow all of
the athletes to explore the 2021 Summer National Championships College Fair and
meet coaches on their own.
3What to do the Day of the College Fair
1. Go to the registration table outside of the College Fair tent and sign in with USRowing
staff to receive your folder and enter the College Fair.
2. Make your way toward vendor village and find the large tent next to registration.
3. Make sure you have all of your supplies (ex. resumes) organized and ready to go.
4. Follow the traffic pattern of going in the front entrance, meeting with coaches who will
at tables around the tent, and exit through the back to avoid traffic jams
Remember: There are two days of the College Fair (times are listed below).
Coaches/universities who have signed up may not be at the College Fair both days, and
they may stay for a shorter time period than the one given.
Thursday, July 15 at 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Friday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
We are still receiving coaches/university signups for the college fair. There will be
an updated list as we get closer to the event.
