Our submitted PED Plan
In-person learning will take place to the greatest extent possible with FULL
REENTRY, including middle school, using a tripod camera to stream classroom
instruction for those at home.
 ●    Possible funding source ARPA- American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (Managed by Title I)

Order Equipment –
     ·    Cameras
     ·    Tripods
     ·    Tables for outdoor learning
     ·    Benches for outside
     ·    Foldable tables and chairs

 ●    Breakfast/Lunch/Supper will take place in classrooms
K-8 Teacher Schedule: 8:15-4:15 (Teacher office hours and planning time is from 3:15-4:15)

Student Schedule: 8:15-3:30 ( staggered dismissal at 3:00 to use space for Social Emotional Learning with
counselors, teachers, and social workers until 4:15)

Set-Up Rooms: This has changed...look closely
●   All teachers, PreK-8th, will have a day to come in and set-up classrooms:
    Set up with 6ft. “to the greatest extent possible,” test technology
    equipment, work on supply list for parents, check your COVID-19 supply
    inventory and emergency lockdown kits.
●   Teachers will provide asynchronous work for students on this day
     ○ Monday, March 15, 2021: Pre-K - 2nd grade
     ○ Tuesday, March 16, 2021: 3rd Grade-5th Grade
     ○ Wednesday, March 17, 2021: Middle School, 6-8
     ○ Thursday, March 18-Friday, March 19, 2021: Spring Parent Teacher
         Conferences
          ■ Staff can come to school to continue working in their classrooms
             as needed
Set-Up Expectations
●   Set-up classrooms with 6ft distance
     ○   6ft “to the greatest extent possible”
●   Prepare for at least 10-12 students in your classroom
●   Recommended that you take as much personal belongings home, to
    make room for safe distances.
●   Post posters for COVID-19 Practices in classrooms
●   If tables, set up for two-three students per table.
Soft Start for Students and Staff
March 29, 2021: All PreK-8 students asynchronous
       ●    All PreK-8 teachers report to building to plan and prep.
March 30, 2021: PreK-2 Soft Start (In-person)
 ●    3-8 virtual with students
March 31, 2021: 3-5 Soft Start (In-Person)
 ●    PreK-2 and MS virtual with students
April 1, 2021: Middle School Grades 6-8 Soft Start (In-Person)
       ●    All PreK-5 virtual with students
April 6, 2021: PreK-8 Return to School Plan Fully Implemented
No PLCs this week! Expect staff meetings! Breakfast/Lunch/Supper will be served!
What can March 29-April 1,2021 look like?
●   Focus on community building, reintroducing classroom procedures,
    COVID-19 Protocols, relationships, and social emotional learning.
     ○   Take a campus tour and explain procedures with your class.
●   Take time to review CDHA Student Expectations
●   Use this time to review academic concepts with students
     ○   No new material should be introduced this week.
What is leadership working on?
  ●     Master schedule to reflect in-person learning FULL RE-ENTRY
  ●     Parent meetings to go over reentry plan
  ●     Using photo recognition machine for temperature checks.
  ●     Teacher Questionaire
  ●     Traffic flow in school (Duty Schedules)
  ●     Order technology equipment for streaming of classroom instruction for virtual learners
  ●     Order benches, folding tables and chairs for possible outdoor learning/eating
  ●     Air filtration units ordered
  ●     Water dispensers in classrooms (Crystal Springs water)
  ●     Classroom posters
  ●     Extra custodial support
  ●     Substitute Teachers
