Porcelain is more hygienic
Porcelain as a material is suitable per se for use in specific hy-
giene conditions and thus is a perfect companion in the pro-
fessional kitchen:

hard porcelain it is almost abrasion and scratch resistant with fully-
closed hygienic surfaces.
The high firing temperature of hard porcelain of 1.400° C also res-
ults in an extraordinarily hard glaze, with abrasion resistance su-
perior to that of other materials such as Vitreous China, Bone
China or Stoneware.
The durable, very smooth and non-adhesive glazed surface guar-
antees that hard porcelain tableware pieces are easy to clean
and thus have excellent hygienic characteristics.
Due to its low porosity, porcelain – different to materials with por-
